I see that Huzzah has done up to ep 11, with releases coming randomly like every 2 weeks to a month or so. Seeing as that's 39 eps, does anyone know if anyone else is gonna pick it up or if Huzzah is going to release any faster or at least it's guaranteed? I don't want to pick up this series if it's not going to be finished..

Is Huzzah a 'trustworthy' group that's been around a long time and anyone know if they said they are going to DEFINITELY finish it? I've never heard of them before this series.. and their releases are random and long which makes me suspicious..

Also pretty shitty how no ones subbing it, when from the looks of it(i've seen the first ep), it looks like it has potential and the animation is pretty quality++. Always happens to these samurai/historical types of shows, like Souten Kouro aswell which was coming out randomly and having problems finding one group that would stay with it. We don't need that much MORE MOE MOE SCHOOL DRAMA CRAP. Some old school historical samurai shit would be good enough for me.

Well Huzzah have subbed a few underrated anime in the past so let's hope they finish this one as well.
Anyways this is a great anime and totally worth the wait.

I have a feeling they finished up those two episodes and said:
Well done, team. That's enough for this year.

Yeah... it's look like that. Man. That sucks.

Hopefully they'll do more, or another group will step up to the plate.

Such a shame. I think Huzzah has done an excellent job translating too...

Damn...and I was just about to watch it...
As a child, I was told that society is a melting pot of talents; knowledge and experience combined to form important alloys that will contribute to mankind. When I got to highschool, however, I thought that it's more like a river in which the water represents our peers while we ourselves are the stones in the river. Constant erosion by mindless majority sheeping has made us lose our unique edge. After I hit the age of 18, I realized that I've been wrong all along. Society is no melting pot. Society is no river. Society is a person, a very skilled rapist, and he has fucked us all.

I think MAL should add an option that has "someone please sub, i want to watch this show HEAPS!!!"

rather than just "plan to watch". And then let people(SUBBERS) know how MANY people want to really fucking watch it so they decide to pick it up and finish it.. i'm curious how many other people have it on their plan to watch list or currently watching.. i bet heaps, compared to the number of people who have reviewed it after realizing it's not finished and probably won't be.

That's not really how it works. Most subbers sub what they want to sub, regardless of how many people want to download it. It's really rare to find a group working on something they hate.

Yeah, seriously. Don't be so ungrateful, fansub groups do what they do for free. None of us are entitled to free illegal anime, so quit acting like you're paying for a service or something.

some one has entitlement issues
"If you tremble with indignation at every injustice, then you are a comrade of mine"

When the union's inspiration through the workers' blood shall run
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
For the Union makes us strong

Does "seems why not" have a website? are they definitely going to sub the rest of this?
There are three kinds of intelligence: one kind understands things for itself, the other appreciates what others can understand, the third understands neither for itself nor through others. This first kind is excellent, the second good, and the third kind useless.

well, i'm not forcing or demanding any subbers sub it. i'm just sayin they should add an option in MAL for please sub or something so that potential subbers will see the demand there is for a series, or even for manga>anime etc

i know it's free, and i love all the people in the scene. I'm not doing this for personal reasons, i'm doing it for the scene and for love of anime as a medium. Thanks.

I wish it wasn't just about popularity. Otherwise, do subbers really all just love doing moe moe crap over and over?

If the numbers and resources/interest were there, i'd even think about starting up a group to sub this or other animes that are 'neglected' in favour of the current crap which sells and they can just recycle.

Lastly, i have nothing but love for Huzzah, even if they dropped this. Why? Because they tried, and i have no 'sense of entitlement'. I'm not picky, i just want the whole thing to eventually be subbed. I don't care if one group does 1 episode only(although i'd prefer something better of course).

I just saw their release a minute ago and I haven't downloaded it yet, but it really made my day!
Gonna keep my fingers crossed for them to keep subbing Hyouge Mono.

Enjoy your subs. I find this show quite relevant to my aesthetic tastes.

This should be weekly release. Maybe even 2-3 episodes per week. We'll try to finish this show before 2012 ends.

Big thanks!

I've been waiting for subs since the first episode was released and after Huzzah stopped I thought that was it. Weekly releases sounds great :)
I probably regret this post by now.

I have no idea how to get in touch with whoever is doing the fan-subs for this series. Just in case this might ever get back to someone related to the project, Thank you very much. I have enjoyed this series immensely. I was so disappointed when the subs stopped last year. I know a little Japanese, enough to understand 20-50% of what is said in a normal anime without subs. It seems to me like a lot of the dialogue in this series is in an older style dialect. Whatever the reason, I couldn't understand enough to really enjoy it without subs. So again, just in case it might ever get back to anyone putting in the work to sub stuff; you are appreciated.
