| After the idol contest its time for the date between the winners Yamato and Megumi. Mei gave Yamato permission to go but she also has her friend Asami keep tabs on them. But it turns out that Asami has to work so she can't watch them. They come home really late so Mei is in her bed, sad. She trusts him but still... Yamato and Megumi go to dinner, a movie, shopping, Yamato buys a cute bear. Yamato and Mei meet later, they hug. Yamato gives her the bear. He says he loves her. Another very cute chapter. Absolutely love this manga! |

| Very cute chapter, I was glad that Megumi actually realized her had no chance and didn't try anything on the date and realized that she was rejected gracefully without anything weird. I think she has a lot to grow as she was seeing things pretty superficially all around tbh, like the way she was looking at Yamato was more for his looks etc. But I think she was starting to realize that she wasn't letting people see anything but the outside of her either. Yamato getting the bear was cute. I liked Daichi's expressions when she went to the salon to thank him. |

| That was a weak date imo between Yamato and Megumi. No wonder they don't fit too well with one another. Glad Yamato meets Mei later on. |

| I think Megumi is actually making quite a bit of progress considering where she comes from (over-compensation for a poor self-image complicated by building an identity as a fashion model/idol--all of which can lead to a really narcissitic personality). She's working very hard to try to understand what is real about relationships and what is real about her own identity. I never was one of the Megumi haters, I just wanted to make sure that she realized that Yamato and Mei were a pretty unshakeable couple. It looks like Yamato's brother may be taking a slightly larger role in the story as well (and I think we'll see more of the assistant based on that introduction). Much as I like the main couple, I find all of the supporting couples and individuals also interesting. I think that is one of the real strengths of this story. |

| Loved the end when Mei comes running like a dog at the front door when it's owner return, all happy w/ that twinkle in her eye ... Anyways the part w/ Daichi was a tad bit weird, he gave her a weird look, almost like he was disappointed or something, when she kept telling him everything was fine ... maybe he disapproved that she was tryng to force herself, dunno, but anyways good chapter. |

| Finally this idiotic arc is over. The whole idol event and having to go on a date with the rival was forced and pointless. At least it provided some character development for Mei and Megumi. It's nice to see Mei with more self-confidence. I hope Megumi gets together with Kai, their dynamic is fun~ |
