| subs were out quite early this week :P it was an interesting episode and the declaration of war felt nice, though i would have liked to see everyone's reactions to it, especially from the rest of the crew.. 7 days of waiting for it, but i guess the next episode can't be boring then :) and big mam sure is fat and ugly, did she eat her crew mates when they were talking about the tea party? xD |

| Loved this Big Mam scene. Been waiting for this to be in color for ages. Still got goosebumps from Luffys declaration. I'm certain that Big Mam is Lolas mom though so don't think any war will happen. They'll probably settle things in the future and become friends. Right now she may seem like a bitch but to be honest, I really don't think she's all that bad. She's just someone who sees things from a business point and demands what she was promised. |

| We'll I for one have been waiting for this moment to come out in the anime ever since I read it in the manga, and I gotta say, that was every bit as epic here as it was in the manga (if not more with the trademark "overtaken" soundtrack playing in the background), I couldn't help but smile the entire time. | Damn that was epic! Big mam definitely lives up to her name, she's huge! luffys declaration was just the kind of epic thing that keeps me hooked on this show! Nice to hear kid mentioned too and see different threads of the story linking together again now that the New World beckons. Also that looked a lot like smoker in the preview! One of my favourite characters in the whole thing and was that tashigi giving orders to the crew with hearts in their eyes? Looking forward to her next meeting with Zoro, he gets hilariously awkward! |

I'm also not gonna marathon it when one 20min episode=one chapter. Nobody is forcing you to read my comments either, as a fan of the manga and the early anime, I'm gonna keep on complaining about this half assed work until it's over That's purely subjective. Watch the earlier East Blue episodes and you'll know what "half assed" is. You could do more with your time than complaining about something when it's not going to affect anything. That's a quick way to get gray hairs. |
