| Do I count as a furry? This question has been bugging since the anime was first revealed, a friend of mine told me she probably isn't a real cat so it doesn't count, but after the first episode it's obvious she is a legit cat, so am I a furry? |

| Only counts as a furry if they're more furry than they are human. I.E: Covered with hair body hair with a human form. If you like a girl who's a kemonomimi or nekomimi (has cat ears, tails, etc) but mostly human still, I'm pretty sure that doesn't count. Cat transforming into human and visa versa, I wouldn't count as any. Yoruichi from Bleach came to mind and I never once thought of it like that when watching the show. |

I'd love to hear it in detail. There's a lot of misconceptions of who/what a "furry" is. A "furry" character would simply be an anthropomorphic animal. Most misconceptions come from terrible media reviews that choose to interview.. some freaky ass people that take it beyond the realm. To me, a furry is not a big deal..its just somebody who likes characters or shows with them in it or something. Disneys Robin Hood is an example, and there was nothing "fucked up" about it.
