About us
We are a happy couple in our 30s from Finland. Anime and Japanese culture in general is a common interest of ours. Anime has been a part of our lives for well over a decade by now and we've started to have an understanding on our likes, dislikes, moe points, and expectations. What we've found to tickle our fancy the most are character driven shows, ranging from slice-of-life to supernatural. While psychological action thrillers and the like seem to be our favorites, in the end what seems to define the show are the characters and their interactions, rather than the genre itself. Even if we've changed as viewers over the years, we still always come back to where it all began; Type-MOON and its creations, since our anime spark was first lit by Fate/Stay Night.

I remember not like the dark tone in the 2nd raid and how it put Chidori as kind of a secondary character without alot really new happening with her. It didnt have much of the comedy in it that the rest of the series had as well. I rewatched it a few years ago though and liked it more then. But I dont change my scores, so I leave things at whatever it was I felt on my first impression. Otherwise I would be constantly raising and lower scores of things I have fallen into and out of love with.

Definitely. I yelled, screamed, laugh, and cried my way to the ending... Then I realized the ride of my lifetime had ended.

Another was pretty decent and was particularly fitting for the spooky season. It left you guessing with cliffhangers like Higurashi did. The ending was okay, but I thought they could have made it better.

Shana is alright, I really like the setting and characters, but nothing really epic has occurred so far. It kind of reminds me of FS/N in a way, how there's a secret supernatural war going on in the city. It has potential to get real good, so I'll continue watching the next seasons. It's weird though, sometimes the story moves real slow and sometimes they cram a bunch of information into one or two episodes. The two main characters do a good job as off-setting each other, like Shirou and Saber. The male main, Yuji, is useless, stupid, and annoying, but Shana saves the show with her tsundere personality, haha.

Haha. I'd rather watch it in its entire magnificence on BluRay than having to downgrade to 720p halfway through the show. Plus, I've heard the second half contains most of the juicy battles. It's only a few days away now, but yes, it was quite the journey to get here.

By the way, that quote in your profile is also my favorite Touko saying.
