| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So we all knew it was inevitable in a shonen anime, especially in a sport based, there always has to be an ep of flashback to describe the motivation of the characters. This ep was Yamato, which isn't my most looked forward to back story, but it was ok, looking more toward Terao's but that's just character preference. |

| Yeah it was an ok episode, I thought Yamato was going to get beat up because he was such a little bully lol Anyways I'm really looking forward to the next episode since it looks like theres going to be a lot more racing action^^, |

| I think they did this episode pretty well. Yamato's past wasn't quite normal, so it was nice to watch. Oh and he's pretty funny as a kid. I laughed when he said something on the lines of: 'oh we're moving again? It doesn't matter, we're still on Earth anyway' lol! |

| my least favorite type of episode, and considering the fact that Mikoto never learned how to breathe properly, him catching up on that hill seems even more far fetched. Unless the crowd was right and Yamato isn't going all out yet. |

| its always nice to have some flashback. I really liked this episode, it showed just how much Yamato worked in order to get to where he is now. I don't think its too far fetched right now |

| I liked seeing Yamato's background considering he's my favorite character. That little European island village was nice and had a nostalgic feeling behind it. Meru reminded me of Naruto a bit. Oh man, this race gets more and more interesting. |

| I don't know about you guys, but this is my favourite episode so far. The megane character is the best. So, Shinozaki reminds Yamoto of Meru, his childhood bike friend. BTW I cried. Bye. |
| The flashback was quite nice, but I'm more pumped for the race. Things should get more intense now since the others have catched up to the lead. |
