According to Weekly Shonen Jump vol.7, Togashi Yoshihiro has renewed his record of the consecutive publications of Hunter x Hunter. He has been published the manga for 21 consecutive issues since August 8th 2011. The previous record of 20 issues was accomplished from January 2010 to June 2010. The longest hiatus for 79 issues was made from February 2006 till October 2007. In 2009, the manga was published in only three issues.
Togashi said he will keep on publishing Hunter as long as possible to encourage people in the disaster area of Tohoku Earthquake.

Guess he finally got bored of having sex with his sailor moon wife. Good to see his dedication. To me yu yu hakusho will always be his #1.

don't worry dragon quest online will be the real test for togashi dedication^^

btw i still think the anime reboot is the main reason he can't go on hiatus that often like in the past....

Togashi doing his job properly (which is a matter of course for every other mangaka) is worth an entry in the news section? It sure is...

I don't feel that Togashi is lazy. The number of breaks he has taken in the past is too many that made me worried. He has to be a very sick person.

This is quite shocking. I held off on the recent chapters because I didn't want to get into Hiatus x Hiatus

I wonder if this is a subtle hint that this arc will be the final...since he might just write and get it all over with while he is able? Who knows...

Encouraging the earthquake victims with Hxh xD
Whatever reason he needs to keep publishing frequently is good enough for me.
I probably regret this post by now.
