| I'll be really short about this (I have a week of work and a lot of anime awaits so I gotta go xD) - this episode was really good, kinda what I expected and a satisfying end to a great series, however the mother-daughter rivalry over Naoki was really unnecessary. And as such the "final" episode (marked 25) also did not fit. I'd be more happy if 24th was the last and final one and as such I'm gonna treat it like that. @UP You aren't very bright are you sir? |

I have no problem whatsoever with Naoki even though I realize that he is an extremely cold person. He did warm up a little over the series but his coldness is part of his personality. If he was only cold to Kotoko then I'd say that she has a big problem but he's cold to everyone including his parents. That's just his personality. For me it would have been really unrealistic for his personality to change drastically just because he fell in love. Instead the writers chose to portray him as someone whose personality "softened" over time. |
| Irie was a total prick and throughout the anime, I could not stand him. But in the end Irie changed and became awesome, so it makes up for it =D! |

| Really nice story, a bit annoying with Irie always faking that he dont care about her. This may be the only one of the animes that i give 8/10 that i dont want a second season, it finished in a complete and perfect way. |

| Despite my problems with this series, I loved this episode. Life is beautiful. Also, the side characters in this series = awesome. I love the feeling of family on this show the most, so it's no shocker that this was my fav episode. One last thing. Definitely have to agree with the person who had a problem with all the slapping of women in this series. It honestly made me sick to my stomach how this was shown to be perfectly ok, I had to stop watching and return to the episode later. Ugh. Fucking ridiculous. |

XD Actually, the ending in the anime is based off of the intended ending for the manga as stated in interviews with her husband. The mangaka, Kaoru Tada, passed away in an accident while moving to a new home with her husband and child (she hit her head on a marble table and fell into a coma before dying at age 38) in 1999. |
| Episode 25 seems pointless so I'm just going to assume this is end. Thank fuck it's over. For the entire 2/3 of this series I was pretty much thinking this was one of the worst shows I have ever seen but the last couple of episodes (some forced drama aside) had some interesting developments but not really enough for me to think this was a decent or a recommendable series. The development for Naoki's character was done so poorly and rushed that it wasn't even nearly believable. He can't just be a dick for 19 or so episodes and then have a complete 180 for no reason other than to rush things along. 5/10. |

| can't believe Kotoko's personality still hasn't changed yet even after being a mother, no different from when she was in high school. Also, she still calls his husband by his last name+kun, this is too weird between a husband and wife relationship. |

| This episode packed a lot of things together (get the pun :D). I laughed, got tensed and felt relieved at the end. Really, an amazing episode. |

| JUST AMAZING! This episode made me really love this anime even more! The beginning was funny with her loving her changed body, Chris also announcing she's pregnant. But when she finally will labor the baby, Irie has to do an operation... an amazing flashback scene where she's actually giving labor and then there she is! Years pass and we already see our lovely Kotomi alive just like her mother :3 ow she's just like her mother and ow so lovely! To then see everyone having someone they love, a kid or two and just being happy really made it for me. Damn this felt so much like the final episode, but there's still one left! I really wonder how this anime will end well I'm totally overjoyed already! |

| This anime is responsible for large group of lonely girls Strong, inteligent male character and weak female such an indealistic world for girls. However I still had fun so I can close eye at this and give 7/10. |

| Great way to wrap things up. I didn't expect them to grow this much. When I first started this show, I thought it would end off with them as boyfriend/girlfriend so I'm glad this anime went so far in their relationship and even showed their little girl. Respect to Irie for saving Matsumoto's life. It was his first time leading his operation and he was still able to succeed. He really turned out to be one great doctor. Another thing I like about this anime is that side characters actually were shown again and they ended up with someone else. Like usually characters like Matsumoto, Sudo and Kin would just get shafted and we wouldn't find out if they ended up happy or not. Thumbs up to the people who made this enjoyable series. More romance/drama's should learn from this show. Good to see that there is another episode after this finale episode. |

| This show escalated really quick, who'd think that the "clumsy" Kotoko will get married with the hottest and genius guy in Japan? i was like what? it's a bit unfortunate because the skip a few part when Kotoko and Naoki began to work at the hospital, like 4 years later or so, but yeah the story was great i love that happy ending, but sometimes i just want to punch Naoki right on his face for not having such a responsibility as a Husband and a Dad for his unborn child ! |

| Such a wonderful episode... Itazura Na Kiss is the first anime I've seen that goes from college to the family life... And i think that in the anime it is wonderful shown how the time passes... Kotoko is right: It is wonderrful to love someone BUT, the best part for me where i laughed like LMFAO was when during the hula dance MICHAEL JACKSON in Thriller (MJ my idol) apperead... hahaha, damn that was funny xD xD |

I just love to see a romance were we can see them as a family at the end <3 It look like everyone found a soulmate in the end. Except me... :( Well, fuck me, right? Sudou married Matsumoto, Chris got her child that already look like an aristocrat, two highschool friends of Kotoko also got childrens. Even Yuuki got a date! With best mom being creepy in the background... One episode left! Go go go! |

| holy damn, I haven't come across any anime (new or old) that has dove and developed this far in a pure romance story - like 10 years(?) has passed throughout the story - marriage, pregnancy, kids grown up - several other characters are married too |
| Despite the very many times I wanted to choke Irie due to his attitude, I really loved this series. I'm happy with how Itazura na Kiss ended in this anime (considering the actual end- or the lack thereof -of the manga). I think the only thing I can't get over is how Kotoko still addresses Irie as "Irie-kun" when she herself carries the same name already. I find it funny... and a little sad I suppose. I mean, after years of marriage you'd think you'd learn to call your own husband by his first name already. xP |

| Hurray for Kotomi ^^ Best episode. I love how Kotoko goes to Irie and tells him to give it his best and save Matsumoto while she goes into labor alone. It must have been a tough decision for her, not having Irie there to hold her hand while she's giving birth. Irie running to see how Kotoko did. He must have been under a lot of pressure during that surgery. The show went from a girl who confesses her love through a love letter, he coldly rejects her and then somehow things advance. Kotoko's house breaks, they go live in Irie's house due to Kotoko's dad being friends with Irie's dad. Then things slowly fall into place. It was the best romance/comedy slice of life show that I've seen. IMO, better than Clannad, but I won't go into that. Fast forward idk, 5 yrs later, we see Kotomi being mischievous. Well she's got Kotoko's personality that's for sure. I like her already, girl's got game. The picnic scene was sweet. Irie goes from a cold guy to a thoughtful kind person. He's still a bit cold to Kotoko, but it's not at the level as when the show started. He's developed a caring personality thanks to Kotoko. I'll rate this show 10/10. It's already one of my favorites of all time. |

| Heartwarming episode, just it! I really liked this series and will recommend for my friends. Laughed a lot with all the characters, and their day by day impossible (or not) situations. |

| MY GOOOD... Pregnancy is scary.. I don't want to get pregnant in the future.. T^T Is there any way to release the baby without pain? I don't want to feel pain. Caesarian is out of the question.. My aunt who underwent caesarian said that she could feel her organs moving when riding a car after her delivery... Those preview comments though XDD Still, I really enjoyed this the second time around 10/10 |

| The first half of the episodes were trash, but the second half of the series went very well. Irie changed his behavior in a good way, Progress in his personality and character was interesting. |

| Thoroughly enjoyed this series and how it was more than just another high school romance. Was enjoyable to see these polar opposite characters fall and love and evolve while still being themselves. Even though Irie acted awfully towards Kotoko a lot of the time, he was a very refreshing and unique lead imo. Every episode was interesting. Only complaints are, I do think the wedding was rushed and the time Irie slapped Kotoko. |
| This show started out promising, I figured the cold Irie would eventually be won over and respect Kotoko but that didn't happen until the end of the series and that is way too long for any respectable person to put up with his crap. Kotoko just felt like a doormat to me, all her decisions were geared toward him and that is just pathetic. He treats her poorly even after marrying her with a couple of bursts of decency that one would think indicates self realization and a desire to change but no, he just slides back into being a jerk in the next episode. The last few episodes got really melodramtic as well, the emotion really did nothing for me as it felt real forced with the medical emergencies the pair dealt with. I'll give this show a 6, keep it more positive as it did have its moments though its tempting to also drop it to a 5... |
