DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- There was all the buildup with Minami needing Tatsuya and then we were let down a little bit, but in the end it is revealed that Minami does indeed need Tatsuya by her side to perform. |
| Gawd, Tatsuya is one of the most unworthy male halves of a romance story EVER. He was happy to leave for food at night... but couldn't be arsed to go support his love on the eve of her big day. And, ONCE AGAIN, he arrived too late to be useful on the day itself. Did Adachi draw Touch with the intention of making Tatsuya consistently useless, or something? I rolled my eyes when he went on and on about how Minami needs him when he's never done sod all for her. But, still, I did feel a LITTLE sorry for him when he arrived to see her win without him. It made him look mighty pathetic for having relied on her support so much. And, ignoring the picture Minami had, it took away from their romance for only Tatsuya to need emotional support in order to succeed. And, yeah: a ton of wasted build-up is how to best describe 76. The set-up was perfect for Tatsuya to support Minami... and he ended up having a pointless journey. I guess it was too much to expect anything worthwhile during the coaching filler business?... |

| Well, good enough I guess. Minami was nervous, but she had Tacchan with her, and she was able to win her competition, but in the end it was more about Tacchan than about her again. He thinks he is the reason she can shine like this, and he might very well be right, I guess it's okay to want to do your best for someone else, it's what he's doing for her too after all, and it's cute, but I don't know, it would've been better if it were her own inner monologue instead of his, he came off as conceited. |

| Looks like Minami didn't need Tatsuya at the competition just a picture of him was enough some real love. On the other Tatsuya must have realised that he shouldn't have come and instead do the same thing focusing on his own goal. |

| Tacchan got a rude awakening... Minami don't need no man to slay all before her! It must be quite intimidating having a girlfriend who is pretty much perfect, but it's a heck of a good motivator. Tacchan's gone from lazy, unfit slacker to ace pitcher, and a decent batter fuelled solely by pussy power. Now he just needs to work on his emotional skills to give Minami the support she really needs: letting her know she doesn't have to be perfect all the time, it's okay to show him her vulnerable side. Whatever happened to Koutarou's girlfriend? I want to see some chubby love! |

| How long is the baseball training camp anyway. It seems it doesn’t matter anymore since it'll probably end next episode. I guess part 4 will be entirely about getting to Koushien as Tacchan will face Nitta at the very end like I thought. Kind of unfortunate we won't see them play in Koushien at least not in this anime. Maybe because Meisei will actually lose to Sumi Tech and Minami's dream won't come true. I wonder what would happen if Kazuya never died. I'm overthinking this. Can't wait for more recaps before part 4. |
| I'm pretty annoyed how Minami is getting all the popularity and attention while Tacchan isn't really getting any attention from anyone despite being worked like a dog. Where's his fans to support him while he's working hard? Just feels really unfair with the huge difference in treatment. It's like a repeat of the first 25 episodes with Kacchan getting the attention while Tacchan gets nothing because he's lazy. This is worse though because Tacchan isn't lazy anymore and he's obviously trying his best to be better but Minami is getting everything. Isn't baseball suppose to be really popular? I thought Tacchan made a huge name for himself by striking Nitta out in episode 48 which is a Koshien semi finalist. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it feels like Tacchan's efforts aren't being rewarded. |
