I haven't seen Iron Man or Wolverine and I don't plan to. However we all know the nature of eastern and western entertainment is just too different. That's why when adapting a Japanese game or anime into a Hollywood movie or adapting a comic super hero into an anime series ends up in... shit. However, if you take into consideration the nature of anime and Blade, you can see that it can end up in something pretty good. Just look at the history of anime dealing with vampires and supernatural entities in general and you'll find some pretty good and even very popular ones in the western cultures.

So I kinda look forward to these, Madhouse Studios has a way of doing things in a surprising way and with quality, that is, if they do have liberty to do so.

Agreed, this might actually work out pretty well.

no X men worked more Than any of the last three movies did ie X3 Origins and First class
"If you tremble with indignation at every injustice, then you are a comrade of mine"

When the union's inspiration through the workers' blood shall run
There can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun
Yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one
For the Union makes us strong

The only way this could actually work, is that the Blade comics and the original story isn't very well known, at least not as much as Wolverine's and Iron Man's.

Therefore, people cannot say what they're saying about Wolverine anime for example: "Look how Wolverine really is and look how they made him be in the anime adaptation! It sucks!"

Blade is just not your classic Marvel character mainly due to the movie adaptations. The way he was portrayed in these movies, he had nothing that could remind the viewers of the Marvel universe. No super powers, just vampires. Not even mentioning of other heroes/villains of the Marvel comics series as if they did not exist in the world of Blade.

That fact makes him more open to other such adaptations like the anime ones. And as far as I can tell, the anime mostly follows the movie character Blade rather than the comics character Blade. This way, viewers can accept it because they're not able to see changes done to the character in the anime adaptation, that they would otherwise reject.
Signature? I ain't got no signature! I don't need no signature! I don't have to show you any stinkin' signature!
