| Actually I don't know why...? It took me 3 attempts to pick it up and ended up with watching it from 20th episode and since then don't know how but I'm just in love ;) To be frank it takes real determination to go along with it as it has a wird taste to it but just as i stated at the begining you end up loving it not knowing why...?! Maybe because it is so freaking funny and you adore every character, each one is so individual that even if annoying you jast can't hate them...? |
| Can't explain it really... at first it was the humour - even though I'm not extremely knowledgeable about Jap culture, it was pretty funny. It's random, fun and light hearted but then suddenly out of nowhere it hits you with all kinds of feels. And yeah, I agree with Hakishio it's one of those shows where every character is unique and interesting... it's so hard to hate anyone and everyone is as interesting as each other UGH it's just so amazing.. and I love the relationship between Gintoki, Shinpachi and Kagura almost like a dad and two of his teen kids you don't see that often nowadays - it's usually a group of the same age people with romantic elements in it I love how some episodes are just absolute nonsense (like the patriot ep LOL) and yet it's interesting til the very last second no words can explain my love for this show srsly |

| This show makes me laught and cry so much i love that it has funny and sad moments too, i can't help but love every character! I can't choose only one as the best i love a lot of them! And i love their parodies so much. I don't know how after all this episodes it never gets boring, gintama it's absolutely my favourite anime! |

| Gintama has peak level action and comedy. Also, it is an anime which interacts with the watchers the most (like they'll tell you to watch tv from a distance in a bright room) which is kinda rare I think. |
