The last episode, went really dramatic and has a little of an unreality genre. Well it was a happy ending though

I watched the first eps once, and thinking this anime was boring.
but I watch it again when I in a state of depression from my daily activity, and found this anime able to cured me bit. some episodes very calming, and the soundtracks very calm too, fits to anime itself. remind me to Aria and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.
8/10 for this anime.

This anime was SO boring. I love slice-of-life but this anime had generic animation, bland characters and pointless plotlines that went nowhere. It gets a 4/10 for me. LAME.

Last episode was the most touching one from the entire series. I almost teared up.

Really love it. It was a nice heartwarming series and a relaxing watch. 8/10 for me. :)

D'awwww. I give it 2cute/10.
As melodramatic as every single episode was, I loved the hell out of it. More more more.

(Why are colds and fevers so serious and prominent in anime? It's just so silly.)

Overall, a decent series imo but I rate it a 6/10. Some moments didn't click for me although I felt the emotions of this episode for sure.

Flowers are so fucking symbolic in this show. First it was the sakura petals and now the dandelion. It's still quite emotional, and I enjoyed this episode until the end...

What horseshit, Kyo being able to hear her mother's request in utero. Well, I can't be too mad over it, this show always had some spiritual vibes lingering, so in that context it seems somewhat feasible. Not to mention both sisters were bind together by a certain "promise"; I saw this from the other side of the globe.

Overall I thought this was a cute one, but it loses it's profundity in the second half as it withdrew it's thematic connection somewhere down the line, and devolved into yet another slice-of-life, which doesn't even have the benefit of a cast. It's only when witnessing the cards situated in the middle of each episode that remind me of their unfortunate circumstances.

This is what made the first 5 episodes feel so cathartic. The idea that even in such tragic times, this show displayed itself in such an optimistic manner through the form of a beautiful sibling dynamic in which the happiness of one is the smile of the others, THAT'S what sold this show. It made me completely dismiss this show's often shoddy animation and art. Shoehorn in some guitarist who can't sing for his life and a rich girl who's sole function is to form a dichotomy between her and Asu, and that whole motif is eroded substantially.

5-point-fucking-5/10, but I'm a nice guy who rounds to the higher number, so a very generous 6.
Why do people have such bad taste? Anime isn't subjective anymore.

Glad Asu healed up and that this drama series wasn't those tragic ones that killed characters like the grave of the fireflies. But I wished the ending was a very very happy like they got out of poverty. To tell the truth I didn't find myself laughing when when they are intending for a joke, because my heart was thinking about their situation all the time.

That father though is the worst scum( typical men and their lack of responsibility), goes to show how men are such scums (90% of them). Any way the owner should've done more in that situation, like let them stay until Kyo is out of high school to lighten her load( hence the fever) instead of asking the rent like a mad man . I believe that community should've done more though. If I was them I would've tried my best to aid them in many ways ( kinko is another who should've contributed after they gave her sister that pork).

I hated the situation but definitely didn't hate the series.

8/10.

I really wanted to like this. Concept is solid, characters are endearing, but the writing is for the most part very poorly imagined. I will say though that the direction was surprisingly creative. There were some very nice cuts, and attention to detail.

I'd like to see more of the Yamada sisters, but with some better writing.

Really loved that ending, quite a nice surprise of an anime, had some good feels but also had some very weak character development and end points. Still with that lacking it still managed to impress me all the way till the end!
