Oh I loved it! Though I felt season one was a little better than season two. The Super Gals series is such an underrated title.

Over all, it was a good little series. I would watch it here and there in my spare time over the past year.
Most of the episodes did tend to be pointless to the main plot, but were enjoyable in their own right.
I did like and agree with the pairings of couples

All in all, I am glad I came across this one and enjoyed watching it.

I was disappointed they used so little of the dramatic content from the original manga. They used rather a lot of it in the first ten or so episodes, but then it really dried up. They did do a pretty good job of expanding that one story (about Miyu being harassed by a past grudge) which actually made it more powerful than the manga original, but the ending to that one derailed it.

I don't mind that the anime is so much sillier than the manga (different medium, after all), but I think it went too far at times, like robot guard dogs, and the robot battle suits. They also took Ran's boast of being "#1 in Shibuya" so seriously it drained all the amusing pomposity out of it. Having some random mugger recognize her on sight and be afraid of her is going too far. The series strays from its core identity; it's supposed to be about a teenage girl who likes goofing off in Shibuya.

At lot of this wouldn't be too much of a problem if all this silliness actually amounted to something funny, but too often, it doesn't. Kasumi was almost always very funny, though. If the whole thing had been that funny, it'd be a favorite of mine.

I rather liked the vocal performances.

It's so boring only found this on english dubbed!

Someone know where you can found Japanese languages, sub or not doesn't matter.

I first heard of this series through a disc that came as an extra with an anime magazine I bought (I think it was NewType Magazine...can't remember). After seeing only one episode, I love it!
Now I'm currently watching this series. It's too bad Season 2 didn't get a dub.

I rewatched it but I don't find this anime funny anymore.. is it because I watched it in english dubbed? or should I watch it in english subbed?

I remember loving this show when I first saw it back in the 4th grade (I had a cool, hip friend who was in the 7th grade and would show me the latest anime). It's been forever since I've seen it. I'm curious to see if its humor has stood the test of time.

I think it was just poorly promoted in the US. ADV just sort of acquired it and hardly did anything with it.

It is a splendid anime based on a brilliant manga; unfortunately the mangaka largely faded away after that major work (only did a couple of minor works and then stopped). It makes me very sad, but unfortunately there's nothing we can do :(

The manga is considerably better than the anime, but the anime has its own charm. To me, the deviations towards more silliness and filler sub plots are just bonus points; we have the manga, and then we have the anime. Different things means double the fun.

my first and one of my favorite animes. I loved it at 12 when weirdly introduced to it out of the blue, and I love it now 10+ years later after watching many other animes. Great shoujo, I thought the women in the story supported each other in an inspiring way, and super funny to boot. Gals forever
