I'm curious to see what exactly happened in Hakuoro's past.

Actually I don't think it's that mysterious at all. He's a traitor and killed many people including his family. I guess the biggest thing I want to find out is the reason behind everything. Maybe he's a psychopath, who knows? That flashback towards the beginning of the episode showed him with the mask on, so...I'm predicting that mask could be the problem. But then of course why did he lose his memory? ...yeah I guess it is mysterious xD

Like ShadowVari, I'm truly curious about the reason behind everything he did...
Well, there are still 8 episodes to explain that. x3 Can't wait to find out...>.<

So, let's pretend he is Rakushain. He must be somewhat inhuman, seeing as he lived through those supposed wounds in the beginning. And 'killing hundreds of his own soldiers' would be rather interesting to see

I have to agree with some of the other commenters that I don't think Hakuoro's/Rakushain's past is "mysterious", but his reasons for what he did sure are. He just seemed like a flat-out psychopath in the "flashback", although I don't know if that "flashback" was just a memory from his supposed brother-in-law's memory or actual fact. Can't wait to find out! For once I actually more than liked an episode, haha.

I wonder what made Rakushain "snap." Must be something serious if he killed even his own wife and kids. Hmm maybe it's another masked guy?

We do not really know if that flashback is accurate and what the events are.
Even if it's accurate there are many interpretations. For example he may have returned home and found his wife and kids slaughtered by some other traitor and that traitor also arranged soldiers to attack him after he came home and when he saw the soldiers he went all crazy in his sorrow and anger for the murder of his family and attacked them but he got badly injured and barely escaped and the real traitor then went to the others and twisted the events by accusing him of killing his family and innocent soldiers.
If you really think about it what did all those soldiers were doing outside his house? If he killed his family no one should be there. I doubt he sent a note about murdering his family before killing them. So why were so many soldiers there?
It's most possible that they were there because they killed his family and waited to kill him too.

I don't know what Hakuoro did, since the word of the enemy can't be trusted. What I know for sure is, that someone who slaughtered an entire village, doesn't have the right to call others evil. Touka says, she is on the side of justice. Either she doesn't know what her comrades did, she is fanatical or is a total nutjob. And she was pretty stupid in the end.

I think we'll find out the truth about what happened next episode. There were a couple of small changes from the game, since Eruruu is the main healer, she actually attends every battle I've seen so far in the game (and usually she is a mandatory pick in assembling the rpg party). Looking at this episode also reminds me that the adaptation is more PG than the eroge from which it was taken, but at least we got the confession from Eruruu if not some of the other interaction.

I find it interesting to note as well just how used I am to the fact that everyone in this world other than Hakuoro has some form of tail or wings.

Another great episode, hard to believe those accusations are true on face value. Probably set-up in an elaborate way and had to run away.

Karura being awesome fk yeah!
Touka saying she was on the side of justice...hehe...I'm sure of that. Most likely being tricked or something.
Hope this whole mess with Hakuoro being bad gets cleared soon.

Has Oboro managed to win any fight yet? Hakuoro never agrees with him either, so not sure what he adds at the moment.

Well, the last chapters were pretty interesting.
I just hope they didn't forget that the enemy destroyed the town and killed all the inhabitants. And looks like they did in order to get revenge against one person, so they are villains indeed.

The introduction of Touka. :D

Fighting on the bridge was cool, with a deviated ending to the fight.
