| This show continues to surprise me. Each episode has been intriguing, even when action isn't present. It looks like Maximillian and Lia were lovers of some sort and Durand is one jealous person because of it. I too agree that the queen probably knew that wasn't really Lia. What else would explain the awkward silence? |
| Tension around every corner. Despite the old man showing up, I have a feeling Robespierre isn't entirely loyal to him. No matter how much information is given in this series, at the end I still always ask, "so what happened?" |

| Every episode contains so much information and events. Everything is leading up to a showdown with Robespierre, who must be Lia's former lover. Where does Durand fit in? It sounds like he's another one of her lovers who has a jealousy issue. De'on seems to be losing himself... he slips into Lia now way more seamlessly and sometimes confuses her memories with his. The psalms are scarryyyy... |

| The Durand + Robin event was the highlight for me. It had a lot of tension as he was about to cut his hand off, even though Lia was already on her way to rescue them. |

| Granted, I stopped and started this episode a lot, but it felt like I had a hard time following what was happening -- Lia could "sense" Robin was being attacked by a psalm and countered it with her own? While it appeared as though Maximilien was being setup as a major antagonist, d'Eon's latest shared memory seems to suggest otherwise. So, perhaps he's actually working in the interest of France after all. |
