I theorized in my review they were saving budget for later episodes which would involve large-scale battles.
I am pleased to know I was right.
Now enjoy the epic finale ;)
And season 2 should be great as they get a higher budget.

Budget? What budget? They clearly have no budget at all. Everything is rushed, absolutely everything. The story is rushed, the animation is rushed, they're even using still images for the battle. I don't call that as "having a budget", I call that "having no budget" and "cutting corners".

@Flair_Noble Dude it's made by Staple Entertainment Co., Ltd.
They only have 1 million $ revenue.
So they can't go ham and animate everything.
For a small studio created in 2020 I am satisfied with their work now.
I expect S2 will have a bigger budget.

Thats factually incorrect. Staple Entertainment, although a new studio, has done some better work like "Jitsu wa ore Saikyo deshita" or "Kinsou no Vermeil" in their early days than "Ubell Blatt", which is a co-production with Satelight Inc. A studio thats been for almost 30 years now. Their yearly revenue has no much value on any projects they work. If it did, Satelight as a co producer should be able to chip in high, being a company in existence for more than 25 years now and also a company that part takes as producers for many other projects.

» (TL;DR Through Analysis) This anime is actually a really good adaptation so far, they are just rearranging things and removing the pointless erotica that also disappears from the manga after the beggining anyway. ( 1 2 )
