It's Studio A-Cat , Hope is lost

These guys have not made a SINGLE good or even DECENT anime. and judging by the trailer , the visuals are as you'd expect from studio A-cat. subpar. how is everyone else taking the news ? i didn't see a topic on everyone's feelings on it being A-Cat.

ok ill admit studio A-Cat isn't among the best bunch..that said it really comes down to how much effort,Time and Funding is Given to a studio for any particular show ...so even tho I dont have high expectations I dont expect a total garbage adaptation either

I’m just surprised it’s getting an adaption. Reading the web comic/manhwa, whichever one it is, it felt like reading an anime since all the colours and the style of the characters make them all feel like they are moving on the screen.

I don’t pay attention to things like studios that are involved as much but I’ll keep what you say in the back of my mind. I’m intrigued at how they’re gonna do Arthur in this story as well as all the side characters and I wanna see the world building, which is another thing I adore about the original series. But I have faith, let’s just keep it at that for now 🤞

None of these aspects will change anything if the the studio just doesn't have any notable staff to work on the series, either in-house or freelancer connections. Specially in the case of A-Cat, as they are mostly a CG studio.

this manhwa would get a anime anytime cause it makes a lot of success but I'd accepted that hope is lost a long time ago when this was annouced. There's no good side about this. This adaption will suck.

To be fair to Studio A Cat basically ALL of their adaptions aren't necessarily bad just because of them. Look at the source material for everything they've done, they all suck too. *with maybe 1 exception* You can put some blame on the studio for the production and quality of the adaption, but the story, characters and other aspects are tied to the source material. Yes they haven't made a single good anime, but they also haven't really animated a good source material either. I mean just look at Project No.9, their best work is Otonari no Tenshi-sama, and pretty much all of that is due to the quality of the light novels story, their production was really rough and they really didn't do the novel justice and despite that it was still good.

I'm not one to defend studio's over their poor work, but I don't blame Studio A Cat for having to deal with bad source material and not wanting to put in too much effort.
