that is some high iq play, i like the way the author didn't put any internal monologue from isagi in this chapter showing him just act reflextively, isagi didn't 'just' make a run, when the ball goes to Ness everyone though he will pass to Kaiser, isagi is the only one who saw his evolution faster than anyone else, whole kaiser still thinking we see isagi's silhouette already making a run, not only that he runs behind shidou and kaiser, collidimg rin and shidou briefly and then occupy the ideal space for the play making the run to the right, forcing kaiser to run to the left, isagi did it faster than anyone else and is rewarded for it.

Wish we could've seen Ego's face at this moment.

It'll be fun to see Barou and Nagi's reactions after this.

tl;dr: slop outcome, Kaneshiro sucks at writing, Inazuma Eleven does a better job, Blue Lock is for dopamine addicted people

Yep, no. As of recent, Kaneshiro simply doesn't know how to write anything other than slop. This chapter is pure trash. That's why I can't keep up reading this shit. There is no tension like the first 100 chapters, there is nothing involving strategy or overcoming your limits (bc there are no limits anymore), there is just the stupid a$$ "Isagoat scores" slop. I'm tired of this shit. Ever since the start of this new saga, I've waited for this match hoping Kunigami would wake up, hoping he'd do something, but no, Kaneshiro forgot all about the Noa project, forgot how Kunigami got eliminated by the roach, forgot everything. But ok, alright, maybe he could do something different in this last goal, as expected that Ness would rebel and do a cool pass, it's very predictable, but fitting for the situation. However, for Isagi to score so easily? Really? You're telling me NO ONE in the enemy team was on him? No one was following him when he was moving at the ball? Is everyone else an NPC?

This manga has nothing to offer, besides dopamine if you're so immersed in this slop. I wish this was different, I've been giving multiple chances to this manga, as every now and then it does something good, like the good old days, but now? There is nothing anymore. Even if you could no from the get-go that Isagi would become the best bc he is the protagonist, there were so many challenges, and you could see the amount of effort that he put. Now it's just "mind games" (there are no mind games, as soon enough a deus ex machina will happen) and edgy text "wow I'm gonna destroy your ass", "wow that's such a sexy ultra saidst pass", it feels like reading a yaoi with bad football plot.

If I wanted to read or watch something related to football that has super powers and deus ex machina, I'd rather watch Inazuma Eleven because, at least, the author knows how to write their story and bring the positive outcomes and message. If I am supposed to expect something serious out of a Blue Lock game, but there is nothing to worry about, then this manga has failed in its writing from the very start of the matches.

Bro, I really thought Ness was gonna stop thinking about Kaiser. Then again he viewed Kaiser as the best striker in the world that's why he sent the topspin drive pass hoping Kaiser would be there. But I'll say his awakening and going into flow was awesome. Isagi masterclass goal running in the direction of Ness's pass and use Kaiser and Shidou as a way to block Rin and score the final goal in the NEL. Hopefully next chapter we get to see Nagi and Reo cook something with Manshine since they devised a plan against Barcha. It kind of sucks that Kunigami wasn't really able to do as much as he did in this entire game. Isagi shapeshifting was fucking fire though I can say for sure. I also like Ness's aura with a magic circle at the bottom and the pass to Isagi with a magic circle as well.

@a0i-kun LMAOOO. Tbh, I'll 100% read the next chapter, as I wanna see the after match reactions and how much they are evaluating the players from this match. If they move to another match (which will probably be another slop) aka Barcha vs. Manshine, I'll probably read it and you guys will most likely see me complaining, unless Kaneshiro does something good for once again (like Bastard vs. Manshine, that was peak). However, during this Neo Egoist League I've dropped the manga like 2-3 times already (or at least thought of doing so this much lmao, however I can 100% recall I dropped it once), so don't be surprised if I'm back on the forums 40 chapters in the future lol.

Inazuma Eleven was lacking football on so many levels, please don't compare that immature anime with something like this.

@YashChourey Blue Lock used to be a really grounded manga, the weapon metaphor simply represented the players's specialty, which was a good way to make it both more engaging to the reader and easier to memorize. I'm pretty sure everyone remembers the Direct Shot, or Kunigami's crazy strong shot, or Chigiri's super speed. They were simply metaphors describing real qualities someone could have, and it also makes sense for it to be displayed that way, as "apex predators" like the strikers should strive for their uniqueness and differences, it was a way to help them learn about themselves and have an ego about their own skill. However, nowadays, things have become way more fantastical, which is why I'm comparing it to Inazuma Eleven. Of course, Inazuma is less about football and more about the super powers, I understand that, but the way both narratives work are the same, except at least Inazuma is an anime for children, so it's more understandable why it relies more on deus ex machinas's or them winning all the time, rather than Blue Lock. Both of them operate on the basis of "match starts, maybe they start well, maybe they start getting destroyed, conflict soon shows up, solution shows up, they win", but even then at least in Inazuma Eleven you see them training their techniques that will most likely save the game, which usually isn't the same for Blue Lock.

Now, I can't say I'm a football specialist, but I'm from Brazil and I've seen plenty of matches and rarely a match gets on the same way Blue Lock does. Are you telling me that the players inside real football games are thinking "Kaiser I'll do a pass with a spin that is not proper for Kaiser Impact bc I'm angry at you" and so they do a super fantastical, unreal pass that will go through the whole enemy's defense and a random striker who is a threat has no one on them to score a perfect goal? Those things don't happen super often in real life, and it's definitely not an accurate representation of football. I used to see Blue Lock as an accurate manga, as at the start we could see real struggles, real dribbles, realistic goals, etc. Hell, you can compare Kunigami and Hulk easily with their shots and strength, for example. On the other hand, you can't say the same thing about what happens in the games nowadays.

Lastly, I totally disagree that Inazuma Eleven is an immature anime. It has plenty of moments you can learn from, and it's a great way for kids to get in touch with their struggles, if they're having any, or bring them a more positive view of things, learn how to not lose hope and stay strong. I'm not saying it's peak writing, despite being my favorite anime, I can totally see how people would see it as childish. However, I can see on your list that you've never watched it, so why don't you give it a try? Embrace the positivity of Inazuma. You'll even notice that there are darker moments, real stakes and there are plenty of things to enjoy.

I have watched Inazuma eleven to a point where avatars came ! and that's where I dropped it. I haven't watched beyond further because that'd where I saw it's nothing about football anymore !

As a matter of fact, I haven't added to the list (in fact, I never wanted to ) , I may add it !

Being a Brazilian, it sounds absolutely crazy that you are saying you ain't know nothing about the game, which is why I can understand you don't understand. well It's not Manadatory !

One thing I accept Kunigami was not used more often despite he climbing up on the graveyard of kicked out people. however, declining the story that has built up until now is unreasonable, totally for me. I am sure we will know more about Ego's back story and his relation with Noel Noa.

Anyways I am waiting for the U-20 World Cup to get started ! or whatever the next arc is.

No one expected Ness to pass to Isagi..
Ness challenged Kaiser to get back his pride by giving a ball he couldn't reach..
Ness wanted to prove that he was the secret behind the emperor..
So Isagi was a card to draw Kaiser's pride..
But Isagi got the goal because he was driving by the desair to adapt and hunting luck..
Isagi didn't expect a pass from Ness, but it was insta-reflection on front of the ball.
He was already on the flow guiding his team to reach it..
Lucky person is a person how suck luck
Isagi is the meta neo egoiste !
Genuine of Adaptation and Talented Learner
All am I wondering is how Ego will use Isagi to shut down Noel .. And because they have the same rival, they'll devour each other to defeat him..
