This adaptation butchered the series badly

This series was on my watch list since 2019 and I finally got around to watching it and it left me questioning a lot at the end. So I decided to check out the manga and in the first chapter it starts to already have a big difference; there is a lot of cut scenes and scenes completely out of place, its also fairly censored (the BD version is probably different). I didn't think the anime was bad it just has a lot of problems with the adaptation, granted the manga was probably still fairly early when it got adapted.

Also the animation was kinda just inconsistent at times. The series would need a complete re-adaptation if it was to gain the attention again of a studio.

Forgot this show existed before you brought up a topic about it, but i feel like it clarifies the low rating (4) that i have gave it back in the day when i finished it haha.
