| Beautiful color page. It reminds of an act-age color page. Usazaki never misses. Ichi and Desscaras are a family now. That double spread was beautiful. And Ichi imagining Desscaras as his parent was funny. And the new character was introduced very ominously in the last double spread. |

| Honestly, one of my favorite chapters This just proves how much Desscaras cares about Ichi, but not only to him, but also to her as a witch and mentor. It was a very touching moment for Dess. It’s scary that if Ichi dies, Desscaras will too, but I’m pretty confident in Ichi, so… I really like how their relationship is developing. Desscaras is genuinely a well written character. I’m glad to see Kumugi, I miss her too Also, a new man that seemingly knows how to use magic appears at the end, the hype is real! Will he be an ally or a foe? This is the real question. Although from the attitude, I’m more inclined to believe the latter. Onto the next mission! |
| Behind Dess' ulterior motive regarding that contract, she really has grown fond of Ichi and that's nice to see. New enemy inbound at the end, what a menacing cliffhanger. |

| ICHI IS SO IN! Desscaras made him her slave/family member! I wonder if this extends to feeling the physical pain between the pupil and mentor. Also that color page, light blues and pretty pinks, gorgeous. Fun chapter, and it looks like we got the butch witch next chapter. Fun lore and banter focused chapter between Ichi and Desscaras. |

| I got the feeling that Desscaras was going to exchange her life for his, not that they both would die. I wonder what the purpose of this contract was originally? I like her motivation to not leave him out to dry due to the prophecies but does anyone think that they'll end up dying in the end? Is this another male witch or is it a female witch that looks like a man? I'm honestly not all that intrigued or hyped. |

| Desscaras, can't express how much I love her. Those expressions were priceless. Now their hearts are bound together and so is their life. Ichi's her dog now though. Also man do I ship them so much. Dunno if the manga will take that route, prolly not but a man can hope. Neat color page btw. That ending though, this new guy should be the companion the prophecy speaks. |

| The mood whiplashes in this chapter were stunning and not in a bad way. Descarras tricking Ichi like that is just nasty for him but hilarious for us. Now were off to a new thread of this story, a bloody one to boot it seems. |
