| AND HERE WE ARE! Finally at 'One Way Ticket to the Top' 's performance that is as grandiose and satisfying as ever. The masterfully done spreads of the waves of laughter pouring out into the city, the gleeful and joyous expressions exuding from the other teams, and their ridiculous set culminates together to make an absurdly touching and amusing routine to round off this chapter. That bit where we see Taiyo and Nazutani's old mate was touching, and seeing their friend in the crowd as they won, (after that gorgeous spread of their total points being shown) was exactly how I felt as they closed off their routine. With the final act to go, I wonder what trouble they'll be stewing to secure any amount of points even close to One Way Ticket to the top! Incredible chapter as always, month got a whole better! |

| Either the translation was off, or the performance itself, I haven't laughed at all, if anything, I prefer other groups, not MCs. Huh. Well... I can still appreciate the good writing, but the humor was completely lost for me. No chapter next month( |
| I think it was always going to be hard to balance the emotional climax of this story with the whole contemporary dance routine they had going on, and to be honest I don't think it totally stuck the landing. The emotional side of things was really well conveyed, but the strengths of this manga didn't really lend themselves to the 'dance' portion of their routine. So, I don't think it was as funny as some of the other ones we saw. That said, I'm looking forward to the end of the competition. It does feel like we're wrapping up though... |
