It was quite boring this season I'll be honest, nothing new especially fight's were very bad except last one, i really had great expectations for this anime , when i watched the first season it felt amazing cuz it was something new , now it was 😐 it wasn't even entertaining to begin with, in first season there were lot of crucial and life threatens moments so it was quite interesting and it had 2nd story with difff characters after 6 eps it was engaging as well.
Is it from the same team who done the previous season, or different team.
They really had a great opportunity to take it to next level like (tsukimichi moonlit fntsy) , now it definitely lost it's popularity even i also lost interest in it as well.
Wt happened anyone know wt do you think abt this season and how was it compared to LN and Manga....? 🤔

Yes, it was a disappointing season, unfortunately. I expected to see more about his childhood crush and the others she was isekai’d with. Besides that, the part with the translation magic at the beginning was the most annoying thing I’ve witnessed in a while

It did follow the LN and from what I've read it was just a slow build up for what's to come. I enjoyed it just the same. I may end up buying the LN

It did fall in quality, animation was generally slower and made the show feel slower with it. Also the plot was not moving fast enough, it's fair that the LN was also moving at the same pace, but LN can do stuff anime can't and vice versa. Since what they adapted could probably have been done in 8 ish episodes without it really affecting the story.

So they should have adapted more if this purely just was built up, or added something extra, and they should have kept the same animation level as season 1.

but expectations were kinda low. its your standard op harem building isekai.

the one thing kind of unique that i lliked about it was the potential building love between the child hood friend, but that seemed to be a fraction of the standard cliche storyline.

if they do a third season they will have to really step it up a bit to stand out from your typical isekai

I am a LN reader.

This arc is slow because they are investing into the introduction of the new characters.

Next arc is Galarc Ball arc, 100% SoL.
Followed by a ton of adventures arc.

I am currently at volume 26, more SoL.

Well, this is an SoL isekai, similar to Mushoku Tensei.

I wasn’t disappointed because I didn’t expect much. It was pleasant no-brain viewing with cute waifus, good to fill time. The writing is probably better than the anime production but it was still a bit above average for an isekai. I’ll watch more if they make it.

I'll add it to my List lol, I have to finish Asterisk War, and My Happy Marriage first. I only have a few LNs to get through between the two so I'll invest in that after. I did enjoy the anime so I know I'll love the LN lol

it exceeded my expectations I wasn't expecting much but it was really good looking foward to season 3, Season 2 is better than Season 1 it was not boring each episode was a banger

I didn’t like this season.’Cause final boss fight was awful.It was nonsense actually I had expected the epic and difficult fight.If I were the author , I would show the main character little weakly.’Cause main character beaten the his enemy easily.I think: at the beginning, the main character worse than his enemy. Finally; in the last fight; Main character beat his enemy but It must be hard fight.

Not really. The first season had it's flaws and a lit of generic elements, but it distinguished itself from the standard isekei with the different time skips and that we saw Rio growing up. Yes he was generic overpowered and the fighting animations weren't special either, but i liked that we really saw him grow as a person and there was definitley some dwvelopement in that regard. Season 2 didn't got me that special feeling. Rio felt flatter and Ayases appearance didn't spice up the story as i hoped it would. Also that Rio didn't told her his true identity was a little weired to me and the hate that Rios sister had for him was to irrational to make sense. Also with the addition of more and more girls, which is normal for a harem, each of them became less fleshed out. It was not a bad season and i was definitley not bored by it, but my expactations were higher. I thought season 1 was something like the prologue and now it gets rolling, but in the end it lost a bit of it's uniqueness and became more generic.
Let's see if it gets a 3rd season. If it will, i'll definitley watch it and hope it gets back on track, if not than i'm not too sad about it.

@LordJehZeus which vol are you with the asterisk war?
i am at V10 and am loving it so far (had to take a long break since i couldnt find V11 and wanted to go to the next as soon as possible after completing V10)

Dunno how people can say that they were disappointed in this season, since first season was already 1/10 garbage, nor how they can say that "quality dropped" since it was already at the rock bottom.
