I can’t be the only one losing all interest i previously had OPM, right? Between already feeling like the quality of the story has dropped since the Monster Association arc, slow chapter releases and so many redraws i feel like One and Murata have completely killed the momentum of the series. I’m not very active within the OPM community so i dont really know if this is just what everyone feels like but i went from raving to friends about this being the best action manga publishing right now to considering dropping the series.

i defintely agree about the redraws. having to constantly change your memory about what’s canon and non-canon is a pain haha

I respect his will to improve stuff, but the pace is going slower than One Piece as this point. I think the creators are stumped on how to continue the story beyond the current arc the web manga has been on.
I think Mashle has took a lot of the ideas and leads in a direction with plot progression if you are looking for a series like it.

I’m tired of getting lost in whats redrawn and whats “new”. The previous arc is what has kept me involved so far but man am I struggling to keep up

Who cares about slow chaoter release? It doesn’t affect the quality of the manga. Look at berserk, Real, a brides story, ext

I have no issues with the redraws. Honestly, I love everything OPM related.
You can think of the redraws chapters as OPM parallel universes since they can go interdimensional now.

there is no way holy shit, reading opm weekly is currently even worse, then reading the whole last arc of jjk weekly. all of the stupid redraws and cannon and non cannon stuff couldve been avoided if they just planned ahead of time

yeah i already lost interest after the garou fight ended. these redraws are just awful and keeping up with it has just become a chore, i wanna drop it but at the same time i wanna know how it goes on. just annoying what murata has done to a good series.

i didn't imagine agreeing with this but i do. imagine gege doing tons of redraws like this, he would've been crucified ages ago and any other manga would've been axed. lucky opm got tonari no young jump, and sad.

Now you see, I have no idea what you’re talking abt. Are the redraws canon, or is the webcomic? I lost all interest in OPM after season 1, season 2 I didn’t like so much. The Monster Association arc was nice, but apart from the Saitama Vs Garou fight, nothing rly felt up to the mark of the beginning. Saitama, to me, had been reduced to a gag character, his whole personality now is just “being strong”. The garou fight was good because Saitama was angry. He wasn’t super strong just cause he is, he was super strong because he was pissed during that fight. It’s not abt him being depressed abt his power anymore, the story is quite different from what it was. I feel like OPM should’ve ended earlier, but that’s just me. It’s not bad rn, it’s quite fun, but still underwhelming, nothing noteworthy happened.

The WebComic is the draft of the story. The Manga Chapters are first published online, but they may be redrawn, for the print edition which is the Canon version of the story.

It definitely messes with the momentum when the releases are slow and when they finally do come out its a redraw of something thats been redrew before

Its targeted to read it volume to volume. The online releases are just drafts. Be grateful that OPM has opportunity to change things than shonen weekly manga releases that tortures a lot of mangakas

Expect u won’t care about it when the manga is done. Do u think, just cause their was a long break in seasons for Mad men on twin peaks, this effects the pacing of the show?
