| frankly, i think this was merely pandering to the stans for every OTHER sister that did NOT win. also, Fuutarou X Yotsuba really doesn't work for me. those two, aren't married. they don't act like it, they barely talk like it, they don't SIT like it next to each-other... they don't WALK like it, together. for the pair of these 'honeymoon specials'... the married couple has ONE solo activity... they're not even shown in their own private hotel room! hell... ANY woman i've ever discussed this anime franchise with and mentioned 'fighting over one guy as a gaggle of sisters' ... the ladies who DO have sisters around their own ages? think this show is silly and impossible. i think the most frequent things i've been told about Quint. Quints by ladies? 'first come first served.' 'i like him, i'm gonna date him, hands off you harpies, leave us alone!' and 'i would kick some azz and pull some hair and make SURE any of my sisters knew that was MY boyfriend and i'm not gonna let one of them poach him.' then ya got the damn impossible honeymoon. nobody is taking their in-laws with them to Hawaii. nobody. their DAD? seriously?? different hotels. different flights. NO interaction while your daughter and son-in-law are on their honeymoon. the little Hawaiian girl? congrats to Ms. Tachibana on her first anime role, and her English was very good! but that entire story premise? totally impossible. entirely. that made just as much sense as the Pentagon Honeymoon. overall, it was just as pretty as usual. mildly entertaining. but ugh... do please let this be the franchise finale. except for one possible scenario. sisters 1 2 3 4 dating lives as adults... WITHOUT their married sister and her husband... because those two FINALLY tell the other four sisters off and MAKE them leave the married couple alone for once. i've even got a sub-title for it: 'Quintessential Quintuplets: MINUS ONE' |
