Actually, at last week's conference, the creators said Bridon Arc has 6 episodes, not 8.
And season 3 will be released separately, and it will have 24 episodes.

@1XSevenX1 It's not an official confirmation, and the translation is a bit off. He's not confirming the six episode length, but moreso just saying it's "around" six episodes - there's a difference. And neither is he confirming the 24 episodes, he's just saying he wants to do a two cour season, doesn't mean it will be exactly that many episodes.

I don't know if the one hour long first episode counted for 3 episodes though, that could be the case. There's no official notice from the official Link Click team.
