| Its nice to see Hyakku last work actually the twin Sakabato Kenshin have before which actually the 'true' side of the work... Kinda think Kenshin might use all his strength to finish Cho for good. But nah, just slice him thin and make him unconscious for whatever times again. Meanwhile, bozo just chill watching all the adult perform below him lol.... Now i am curious how this season going to end and what future this remake lies, since i think there's still room to continue this more further. Right? |

| I still think that they will adapt all entire Shishio arc this season, action is done fast, and there is no enough content old or new to end entire season with the Perhaps this new episode based on the one shot is only middle episode or so. 3 next episodes should cover until . Mmm I dont know. Perhaps there will be some episode of 1 hour? Nah, I think they will done fine. |

@-Hyunckel- there are still 70 chapters left in this arc. How can you say they will cover whole arc in this season?
I dont think so there will be any 1 hour long episode in this season.
10 episode will be done in the upcoming week. So 13 episode will be left.
The way they are showing this season, it is nearly impossible to show whole arc. In OG, they modified many things to give fast gear in the show. Still they needed 31 episode to complete after kenshin vs saito fight. Here they are fully follow the manga.
If they cover 3 chapter in every episode. Still they need 25 episode to cover.
So my guess is that they will add up master of flame and the mount hiei in another season.

| @Miraz_Un_Nabi At the contrary, the old anime did take his time much more with some things and add other new. The pace in this adaptation and the manga is faster. You only have to see that next episode will be 10 and in 96 adaptation would be 14 of second season. The only thing that makes me doubt is this new episode. If this season not cover entire Shishio arc, tell me what is cover then? Because I dont see Master of Flame cover more than 1 episode or 2. And until My guess is that Master of Flame will be episode 24 OVA with the blu rays and there will be the first appareance of Other thing, look at the trailer of this season. Remember the trailer of past season, they only show content of the first and second middle respectively in each one and in the trailer of this, they even show content of next arc. Probably in middle of this season there will be a new trailer with second middle content like in first season. |

| That cant cover 14 Episodes, and I keep saying that this adaptation is faster, but you are right on 96 anime second season beginning with Saito. I didnt remember that now, yes. Anyway lenght in manga and anime are very variable on speed, episodes focused on action in manga can be done very fast in anime. |

| While I prefer the older anime's interpretation for the fight from my memory themetatically and direction-wise, this was still some solid stuff with nicely animated cuts in there during certain big moments and a step-up in the music too. This was a very good, straightforward and entertaining episode, even if a bit on the ridiculous side with Cho's sword. The brief scene with Kenshin and Shakku meeting up and Shakku handing Kenshin the original sakabato then was also very good. Of course the original's versions were a lot better and impactful for me but this still held up fairly well. |
| Whip swords are cool. Shame it's being used by a guy like that villain. Realistically probably impossible to make, but the versatility of that blade has plenty of potential. Kenshin really needed that sword to get the job done. Imagine fighting him further without the weapon. All's well that ends well though. Kenshin displayed all the moves to dodge that blade, and the baby was saved. Funny that the last sword the famed blacksmith made was the same as Kenshin's old weapon. Perhaps it was a sign that the blacksmith trusted him. Welp, with the words from the flashback probably even more so. The blacksmith's message stashed away on the final blade was cool. Truly the weapon that surpassed Kenshin's old blade. |
