Do you guys think Season 4 will release in 2028...?

Season 3 is supposed to have 38 episodes. After the 2nd cour in February, they may announce the remaining 22 episodes (arc 6) as S4.

@Autumn_Sora according to leaks, s3 will be 38 episodes, 16 and then 22 later on. nothing confirmed yet, but the leaker is ice, so it's probably true. so, you may be correct about s4 in 2028, but i think it's more likely they brand the 22 episodes as s4, since it's a whole separate arc, and then the next season (which may very well come out in 2028-29 if they keep up this quality and quantity) would be s5

You got the answer. Also, as I've heard, White Fox is a small studio. So, it's not surprising that they are taking their time which is not a bad thing in my opinion.

2028 It's too long time 😔
I thought season 4 will air on 2025 or 2026. 2 to 3 years gap means a lot. Since it is re:zero i have no choice. I will wait for long time for this masterpiece 👍🏻

@Autumn_Sora hmm, i didn't read the manga because i wanted to enjoy the anime properly. So i will wait for the rest of the season.

@PraneshChow I DO NOT recommend reading the manga because the anime is more ahead than the manga, but the light novel is at arc 8 while the web novel, is at arc 9... the author has confirmed that re zero will have 11 arcs.

@PraneshChow just to make a correction, re:zero will actually have 12 arcs now, what the author originally planned to be arc 7 ended up being split into both 7 and 8. And apparently the last arc will be extra long, so there's still a lot left. Also, the light novel is exactly at the same spot as the web novel is to my knowledge, one volume into arc 9.

I guess i will be watching season 5 with my kids then lmao
