So much chatter this episode but it's obvious Narsena just wants to be close to Laust. It's written all over her face.

Lyra is also starting to become a slightly more likable character imo. She also behaves differently around Sieg.

Ominous sh!t with the sleeping princess foreshadowing. Is Laust, who is, in fact, is the strongest, strong enough to be a doombreaker?

This episode was rather sweet with all the love talk and the girls spending some time together, Sieg perfectly knew how Narsena felt but he was oblivious to his own love life.

Mostly a set-up & talking episode. Surprised he actually had Narsena investigated.

@LordCrueltyV Planting some pretty serious flags here. Yeah, that could not have been a coincidence. Ominous.

Very good episode! The story is developing in a very interesting way, making clear Laust and Narsena has a role together. I am definitely willing to see it until the end.

A shy MC needs a straightforward gal by his side.
But, she's too gullible, and I somehow like it. 🥰

Narusena is on the offensive!!! 🥰

Armia also likes to talk about romance... her character is growing up too fast!

P.S. I like the idea of adding that puppet story to foreshadow the climax. 😭

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

@Sheol01 Laust likes Narsena, undoubtely. Out of concern, he had arranged a sane checking on Narsena, something I deem correct. It is possible Laust loves Narsena, which makes such checking more relevant. It is possible Laust got the gist about Narsena, which makes such checking most relevant...

Yeah, it is troubling. Especially seeing what he was capable of doing when they defeated the hydra. Even Sieg was troubled by his berserk state. That’s the reason he decided to stick around and keep an eye on him. Not bad for a filler episode, though it slowed down the action a bit too much after going hard with the phoenix.

A lot of talk about relationships in this episode.
The most important thing was the story of the evil dragon and the sleeping beauty with blue hair.
Mist said that Narsena is the sleeping princess in an earlier episode.
Things at starting to come together and make sense.

I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

"Can I talk to you tomorrow" pretty much guarantees that Narsena will be kidnapped or run away or they'll have a misunderstanding which ruins their relationship or something which will make the conversation impossible.

This took a sharp turn away from the Manga. I don't recall any mention of the blue hair at this point or paying Amherst to a do a background check.

I could be completely off-base, but I'm wondering if the Princess fairytale allegory that Laust is in fact the sleeping princess and Narsena is the hero. In the story the Hero is a fighter, while the princess seems like a mage, its the princess who ends up saving the day to save the hero. Narsena getting blue hair could be her inheriting the "hero" aspect of her personality and why her dad gave because she was the reborn hero, while Faust mainly can only heal (meant to be a support role), but we see he has a weird demon-like mode, which might've stemmed from the Princesses sacrifice to defeat the previous dragon.

Could be off, but I suspect we're supposed to think Laust is the hero and Narsena is the princess in the story allegory, but its actually the opposite, Laust is the sleeping princess reborn and Narsena is the hero reborn. It fits more with their roles if you really think about it when Narsena being bold, headstrong, doesn't think too much and just goes for things, while Laust is more thinking, melancholic, cautious, strategic and quiet, but always thinking about the one he loves and would probably sacrifice himself to save her. I'm thinking the dragon is about to be reborn, so the hero and princess from the story were reborn from 200 years ago, but the both of them took on the opposite gender they did in their last life.

I really love the aesthetics of the buildings in this show, both inside and out. There’s something about their design that really draws me in. Honestly, I’d be happy just to live in a world like this for the architecture alone.

I also like the dynamic between Amherst and Narsena. She’s one of the better adventurer guild receptionists I’ve seen in anime. Her voice actor did an amazing job bringing her character to life.

Nothing of note happened in this episode, but everything important did. Lyra and Sieg's ship has sailed, and Narsena and Laust's ship will sail soon enough. I’m happy. I’m also glad they chose to do this at Episode 7, where most anime wait until Episode 12 or 13—if they do it at all.

@AestheticGamer I agree with someones thought on Laust being the Dragon and Narsena being the Sleeping Princess, but I like the idea of Laust being the sleeping princess and Narsena being the hero, though I HIGHLY doubt.

90% thought while the guy was saying the story of the evil dragon, the sleeping princess, and the hero, that the princess would be Narsena, then when her hair turned out to be blue i became 100% convinced, cuz i was like "why does this guy keep coming up", then i figured out he ain't talking about some random stuff, but stuff that might relate to the story, then the end scene confirmed it for me. Sacrificing one's self is a bit dark though, so i hope we don't reach that. Excited for the upcoming episodes, as well as that evil dragon!

As one of the early music fans over centuries, I'm happy to see a ‘hurdy-gurdy’ played in an anime episode.
Unfortunately, the sound of music was not so authentic.

Did anyone see other appearances of this crank-armed instrument?

‘Badigadi’? That's the six-armed demon lord from “Mushoku Tensei”.
