One thing that just occurred to me upon finishing this anime was that they somehow picked the most basic assortment of pieces. "Toreadors" from Carmen, Overture and Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker, Spring 1 and Summer 3 from The Four Seasons, and Dvořák's 9th. Nothing wrong with any of those, but I feel like if you had a gun to your head and were asked to name a random list of orchestral pieces, you'd probably name those. Plus, not all of those are appropriate for a high school orchestra, especially Summer 3. What do you think of the music in this anime?

don't really care as long as it's good. if the music is good, then it's fine. if it's shit, I ain't watching it. don't care about how popular or unpopular it is

What makes Summer 3 inappropriate for a school orchestra? I know very little about classical, so it's a genuine question.
