Heck, the gap between 2nd and 3rd place is massive. Interesting enough, One Piece and Digimon's results combined are still not enough to reach Dragon Ball's one, hehe. | I guess some people forget DB's global presence, especially when they're looking at online bubbles like MAL, twitter and others. DB is still easily the biggest anime franchise in the world, and I can't see that changing any time soon either. |

| Pleasantly surprised to see Dragonball is still at the top! I would have expected it to be One Piece. But the real surprise to me is Digimon at number 3, its not even close but still. Did Digimon even have anything aside from those movies a few years ago? @rohan121 definitely still Pokemon, as that franchise is the most profitable overall, anime, games, hollywood etc. Pokemon just does it all. |

Well, they have Ghost Game and that Adventure 2020 reboot, but most of the numbers comes from the games and TCG (With tons of new Digimons that haven't appear in the anime and games yet). Plus there is also a new webcomic (Where Impmon got new Guilmon knockoff evolution lines lol) currently serializing as well.
