@aurora_yuuki The characters trope are nothing special. Also their developments are very predictable, lead them to become boring (at least for me), and I just couldn't care less about them. That's it.

This last episode definitely set us up for the next season already with the open ending. V4 starts with a summer arc
The elections will last for the whole story (at least it's still not over after V9 which at the same pacing would make for the 4 last episodes of season 3 and it wont be over any time soon)

| So it was good anime to watch, it was getting better by each episode till 9 episode, then it kinda started a little weaker on good sides to start the show from new side, a more serious one. I wanted to give it a 9/10, but I think I'll stay with 8 and leave 9 for second season if they make them date fast, maybe get at least Masha and Kuze to know they are (if they are?) the same kids when he learned russian, but keep it a secret from Alisa, as he need to have advantage on her speaking russian :D It is his mind reading skill :D and I want more ecchi ;d The OP and ED were nice and it was something unusual to have 12 ED songs, but it was also nothing special or powerful. At the same time they matched the show and pace, but I wish season 2 could be more energetic. The talks between the main pair were the part of this show and it evolved quickly so I hope they will continue this pace then be student council pair same as current pair of Kenzaki and Sarashina. |

| pretty decent, wasnt as funny as many others but still had fun moments they left out a bunch of stuff here and it feels like theyre setting up stuff for next season. like why their family feels so off, or if mashas 'sa kun' is masachika etc. especially the student council thing felt like it ended abruptly guess theyll conveniently juice the whole masa can understand russian til the end also forgot, awesome how they went thru the effort to change ED every eps wow, the summary is a spoiler lol, we saw alyas mom (a jap ig), meaning her dads the rus, wonder when hell get introduced (or is it another bork home?) |

From just a class politics standpoint...I actually think they were broadcasting all the wrong lessons. First they spread a rumor that is, after all, a lie to their constituents, however well intentioned, and then seem to broadcast the message that charisma is what matters more than qualifications or any actual vision for the future.
We already largely live in a world run by former used car salesmen who eventually become CEOs and then oligarchs, before moving on to trying to rule the world on the power of memes or whatever. (One of my own state senators is literally a former car salesman. He's great shaking hands though.) There's just so much more to doing a good job, even in a leadership position, than charisma and being good at glad handing.
Good thing this is a romantic comedy that only has the school politics as background noise then. But still, it's kind of weird how wrong some of this feels.

@aurora_yuuki Yeah I know. But the reason is this season just needed a tad bit more romance, I'd actually rate it a 9.5/10. I do believe the anime I've rated 10 before don't deserve a 10/10. Maybe in that moment I felt giving it a 10 but looking back at it, some don't deserve it.

S1 is just a prologue to the story. The next season will take all the merits of the first season and amplify it by many folds. It will blow S1 out of the water. |
