Is there a reason Seiko looks and acts different from the Ep 1 flashback?

After watching the first episode, I never would have imagined Momo's grandma would be so petty and immature in demeanor, or so young in appearance. Seiko is the furthest thing from a typical grandma and seems more like a bratty kid than either of our two protagonists. But, this is a story with supernatural elements, so that got me thinking- Could Seiko's bizarre character be the result of some sort of curse? Is there a plot related reason for why looks and acts the way she does, and if so, what could it be?

Think it's the simple fact that you/we can't grasp the full scope of her character from one Episode + a couple of mini-flashbacks, dude....

why don't you just watch it without getting confused over nothing, every 5 minutes^^

We only see a tiny bit of grandma's flashback in episode 1, and that is not enough to tell us what kind of personality Ayase's grandma would be.

Not anything from the 100 chapters I've read before the anime announcement. I think it's just normal and what did you expect from the assistant of fujimoto, lmao.

it's very good and it's just keeps getting better every new arc. Every new arc is better than the previous arc, get ready for some peak and for the next episode.

Perhaps it’s the fact that Seiko wasn’t established as a character until episode 3.

Seiko looks and acts this way just because it's funny. They intentionally showed almost nothing in the flashback to surprise you in ep 3 with her appearance and behaviour. It's basically the exact same kind of humor as Turbo Granny saying what she said in the tunnel, where you would expect a jump scare instead, or the MC's name reveal at the end of ep 1. That's just the manga's sense of humor.

Gosto de pensar que aquele estereotipo é so uma imaginação de Okarun, considerando o que Momo disse sobre sua Avó, então talvez aquele flashback seria so a interpretação do MC de acordo com o ``normal´´ de como uma Vovó agiria

"I like to think that stereotype is just Okarun's imagination, his interpretation of what Momo told him about her grandma"

Now that's an interesting take.

That’s one of two popular explanations for why this occurred. The other is that Seiko changes the form of her appearance past the point where that flashback occurred. Manga readers (should) know that she has altered her appearance to appear younger at some point, because she said outright that she did. Not very important but it’s just something to think about.

Então, posso considerar que ela tenha algum contrato com algum espírito? talvez?
