So it appears the second murder and the other one was linked to someone who is pulling strings from behind the scenes. Or rather, it was a hacker.

Money seems to be the motivation here as the case gets more complicated. It's a thrilling episode imo with the stakes and mind games. Not going to lie, this season opened up big and is not fooling around with its cases.

Tfw you catch the culprit thinking you outsmarted him- or her, in this case, but it turns out she's been outsmarting you all this time. WELL THEN, the game is on, I suppose.

First I could've sworn ep1 was a Sunday afternoon affair for me - apparently that wasn't the case. Now I was apparently an hour late for the episode, compared to what my calendar said - did they actually move the schedule or did I mix things up on my end? So disorienting.

This arc has been quite the wild string of events, it really goes to show how smart Winter is when Ron laid out the way everything played out, there’s no better way to commit crimes when you have a realistic skin suit lol, I feel like I should have seen this coming since this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Winter use them but it was really cool when Ron unmasked the one behind everything, turns out they’ve been this close to Ron and Toto all this time. Winter really is a good actor tho, the skin suit is one thing but to also play the role of the hacker so well makes it to where you pretty much wouldn’t be able to tell if Winter replaced someone or not, the only way would be personal info but they didn’t know shit about this hacker guy lol.

But unfortunately having Winter cornered didn’t mean much because the next big bad happened anyway, not sure if that explosion means the last hacker was already murdered or not but that’s just a bad situation all around, and I guess this means this arc is getting a 3rd part too, I’m excited to see how this one ends. Also Amamiya helping Toto was a nice moment, having all that police help ended up not really mattering but it’s nice to know Amamiya has our boy’s back.

Let’s goo for once I finally solved a case in this show before the end 😂 I knew everything with the deltard hotel and the hacker was too convenient.

There’s no way House of M would be dumb enough to think that Ron and Toto wouldn’t be with the hacker for that initial call when they saved him, so of course they set a trap at the hotel. Pretty much as soon as bro refused to go into police custody I knew he was the culprit, he was just doing way too much.

The “despair” Ron is meant to feel is surely being so close to the culprit the whole time and not being able to stop the next terrorist attack. House of M really got Ron out here fighting for his life. The guy who’s usually two steps ahead of everyone is actually one behind in this arc and I’m loving it

My baby Amamiya looked so good in this episode too! This was fire can’t wait for the next

Well, he figured out he was the target. That should be obvious, at this point. But how far will each side go? That is the REAL mystery to me.

Had my suspicions that it couldn't be Amamiya when she wasn't getting all giddy about Ron. I guess she's serious when things count.

Surely they have a bug and a GPS on the guy so he was doomed from the start. The intersection murder makes sense. Thought they just killed him elsewhere and put the body there.

The dance between these two has been fun. I'm really looking forward to the facing off again.

Part two. Ron comes face to face with winter, an operative of the House of M. What would be the outcome?

Was waiting for Ron to figure out that the 3rd hacker was Winter on the rooftop, but I didn’t expect the hacker to have been Winter that whole time, that was crazy. I wonder who took the shot on the 2nd hacker then. An accomplice? Was it automated?

Hope Amamiya-senpai is safe since she was stuck with Winter then

When the hacker showed up at the elevator I figured it was Winter in disguise but it hadn't occurred to me that it was her the entire time as I thought the hacker really was under police protection/custody, well done. That also explains how hacker #2 died since Winter was next to the guy and actually stabbed him rather than shoot him from afar. On that note hopefully Amamiya is ok since she briefly took Winter in.

It would be anticlimactic if Ron just uses his make-culprits-commit-suicide-stare and Winter just dies. I assume House of M members are immune though.

Man I knew something was up when the Hacker showed up out of nowhere on the elevator but it being Winter was a surprise to me ong she’s pretty damn smart😮

This season already turning out better than s1 and s1 was good asf, I can’t believe we’re dealing with straight up terrorism like Winter over here bombing shit like shes unhinged asf😭😭😭

I love that the series is more of a whole now, after the plot twist at the end of season one, but still keeps the same elements as season one.

Great episode. Ron and Toto really did a good job in catching the culprit. It was very shocking to find out who the culprit was. Ron’s thought process in catching the culprit is so interesting and fun to watch. Can’t wait for the next episode.

An explosion? I definitely wasn’t expecting that. I thought they were going to shoot Totomaru or something.

Honestly, when the hacker came up the elevator, something about it made me feel he was apart of House of M's scheme. Not sure why though because it wasn't entirely clear to me. Probably a hunch tbh.

The 2nd of 3 hacker team victims shot clean, and the last victim being on site helps a lot for Toto to chase him down and secure him.

The case itself turning to a head because the last victim is directly in relation to the House of M, Ron, Toto and Spitz can't exactly make dangerous choices preparing for the next murder. And though Amamiya's analysis does help them, it depends on the enemy's (in this case, Winter's) act when the time strikes gold. The early cornering with the trio of detectives and the plainclothes officers all around, still manages to break even to save the last victim's life from death.

The semblance of Haydn's Symphony No. 96, the Miracle Symphony, plus the iridium tip on the bolt, and the nexte of their plan with the numbers 9 and 6 (as is the markings on Ron's neck), the House of M is clearly targeting Ron, marking a heliport for 12 o'clock. And putting things into perspective with a close-up view, Ron may have deduced Winter in disguise, but even then, it's not a complete success with despair hitting at exactly the timed spot.

The cases this time are no joke, it's all part of an elaborate plot.
