Akane-chan best caring girlfriend💘, Aqua's shining star eye disappeared 😢😭.
Mem-cho true analyst of mass & media communication is finally here in the play.
Piyeon piyeon voice breaks were hilarious af lol 🤣.
Akane loves brands more than quality .
Ruby-chan your sensei is right in the same house as you live.
Kana clearly showed us how desperately she wants to spend her time with aqua 😂.
Himura-san got the heavens time & motivation by our Ruby-chan , she really outshines a lot ✨.

It's now time for the revived B-Komachi Idol Group to shine✨. What's with the cliffhanger?!!! Who is that girl??!!

We're back with episode 10 after a week break. The animators really deserve a break, those animators have been doing an amazing job since the start of the season. It's better not to rush.

I find it really hard to believe, there's no way that the revenge plot just resolved here this simple. This revelation is so anticlimactic if it's really the end. Aka Akasaka, you're not fooling anyone.
And more importantly, Aqua's star in his eye is gone, which means a lot, even Kana has noticed that he feels different.

It's nice to see the Ruby gang again, Ruby arc let's go.
Kana is so adorable, lol, the instant expression swap.
And to film their video, they're planning to go to Miyazaki, of course, we're going back to where it all started huh?

At the end tho,

God, I'm so excited. Yeah, this is indeed the calm before the storm...

Nice episode as usual, thanks for the meal.

Yeah no I'm convinced it HAD to be lovers' suicide involving a married couple with a 5 year old child. There's no way it's part of a cover-up by someone who fathered many children with famous women in the entertainment industry, forced them into silence, and then murdered them. That's too cliché an ending. I think Himekawa knew Aqua was out for revenge and lied to protect his obsession or something.

Meanwhile, Arima and Ruby finally hit 20k subscribers... but after watching so many YouTubers, or even just the YouTuber anime this season with channels over 100k subs, it's hard to feel impressed, even though, as Mem pointed out, 20k is actually a big deal. Also, nice touch seeing Arima with an MSI PC. It's not obvious, but pretty clear it is one.

The rest of the episode was pretty calm... the perfect calm before the storm that's coming in this arc...

No Akane today 😢 but fairs this was a Ruby masterclass. Loved spending some time with the new B Komachi after focusing on Tokyo Blade all season. Time for some idol stuff again!

Mem-cho coming up with the room tour vlog idea was actually pretty smart, fans love those Parasocial relationships with their idols and showing them around your room/house is one way to strengthen that. I love how Kana wasn’t even interested in doing it until mem-cho told her you can claim anything you show as a tax expense. She over here going crazy with the tax write off purchases. 😂 no way she went out and got a herman miller, Chanel purse and a custom pc for the video lmao.

Poor Ruby missing sensei and don’t know he’s been with her this whole time..

she cooked in the second half of the episode. I love how persistent she was about getting a new song and getting things rolling with B Komachi, can’t waste any momentum or time. In fact she was so cute that the songwriter Himura snapped out of his writer’s block and had to lock in after seeing her video message lmao. I don’t blame em. She has that same aura and way of just pulling people in that Ai had.

S/O to Miyako as well she served face in every scene she was in today.

Can’t wait for the next episode

After the intense Tokyo Blade arc and a week's rest, we're back for the next arc,

Aqua'a reveal to Himekawa that they share the same father as half-siblings, it's quite the sensitive topic as he comes to know that their father died in a lover's suicide, being a playboy in a rather risky double suicide. Taiki, of which is real family name is Uehara, their father Shuichirou is quite the playboy, and to stumble upon quite the revelation, it sure puts him in a tailspin on his pursuit of revenge. Even Kana derides him for thinking that he's gone home with Akane after the drinking party, which he didn't, and if revenge against his mother's culprit is gone, what is he exactly left with?

B-Komachi's YouTube channel reaching 20k subs wiith MEM-cho's effort, it's far from reaching 1 million subs, but its still money earned, even if it's pocket money. And a room tour being the next video topic where Kana shows off her 1st-rate expensive goods in a rather expensive apartment, Ruby being meagre with Ai's posters as her only source of support after her death, as well as the doctor that she was tended to, who went missing and using the B Komachi name to get him to recognize her immediate, it's intention. As part of the revival plan, a R&R stay, as well as their first original song based off old B Komachi songs working with reputable music artists, whilst Kana wishes she has more intimate time with Aqua, and Ruby being a spoiled baby because the producer couldn't deliver their song in time, time is of the essence with B Komachi's rise to fame, and not a single second must be wasted.

If only bigshot syndrome didn't suffer within Himura, he wouldn't suffer from writer's block, but Ruby, damn, she knows how to bring anyone out of their rut with her bright-eyed star, and with recognition comes motivation to push for the best. And Aqua being free with Tokyo Blade done to join the girls to Miyazaki for B Komachi's MV filming, the mysterious girl will tune their paths once more...

Well...
I'm left very surprised after this episode. Like, what's Aqua going to strive for now. Honestly, I hope that supposed father wasn't the one which brought Ai's death. Weirdly enough, I enjoy Aqua being in a kind of revenge ark, I like his character.
Also, building up this whole second season to the conclusion that Aqua will now hate acting feels kind of weird considering this last episode. Is he going to begin liking life again or what?
I'm left with questions and I guess I'll just wait and see. See you next week :)

After that cliffhanger, the week-long break felt like an eternity. Tho it's nothing compared to what manga fans went through Ig. Anyway, glad ONK is back.

So, Himekawa's dad is dead huh? That's it for Aqua? Boy pretty quickly went through an existential crisis. But got over it pretty quickly too. Ngl, Aqua looks weird without the star in his right eye. But it's a bit refreshing seeing him calm like that.

After 9 episodes of Aqua focus I'm glad we're finally seeing something for Ruby even if only a couple of episodes left. I wish she was a bit more present in the last arc but at least she'll finally get screentime in her own arc now. And it's also Kana and MEM-cho's arc (probably). MEM-cho slowly approaching 30 hits a little too close to home... Ruby didn't need to go so far. But I like her passion. Hope they'll get a fire new song to end the season with.

Wonder what the deal with the little girl was. Can't wait to find out.

I didn't think Crow Girl would show up until they go to Miyazaki next episode, that's an interesting addition as a cliffhanger.

Two weeks felt eternity, but Peak is back.

Well things (de)escalated too quickly. It's kinda bad that Aqua motivation for living his revenge won't be completed as his supposed father is dead. But Himekawa told his parents suicided(20-5) 15 years ago while Ai died 14 years ago, so how can Uehara give info about Ai to the murderer, math ain't mathing. Maybe theirs more to it.
But for now atleast Aqua is "free" from his burdan. After a bit of soul searching and seeing how obsessed Kana and Akane is towards him, maybe he will try to enjoy life more.

But his Star vanished. Not so pleased and bothered by this but atleast good to see my man smile. It's a rare occasion.

The new arc which is FINALLY Ruby focused. Enough of side chicks it's time for main girl to shine. Also Memcho screentime too..
It's kinda sad to see how Ruby's face droped when she heard about "tight security" and when Miyazaki was mentioned being where she was hospitalized. Her obsession with Ai and to name B-Komachi just for her Sensei notice is so wholesome and really nothing to be ashamed of. Ruby is getting some limelight and she was so cute this episode.
Miyako getting pushed by Ruby to pressure Himura was very fun and sweet. Himurua who got bigshot syndrome struggled to write songs. But Ruby can't be stopped as she need time as idol before Memcho turns 30.
Himura lost motivation was rejuvenated by Ruby passion.

Doga Kobo back to their usual cooking again.
Tokyo Blade play ended.
What a masterpiece of an arc🫡
Aqua is now unemployed acc to Ruby, she needs to stop hurting others with her words. The change to Aqua's nature was very noticeable to Kana. She convinces him to go with those 3 to Miyazaki where he didn't go after getting killed. Kana is looking for downbad time doubt there be any fun with that mysterious girl shown.

I feel almost as disappointed as Aqua does in finding out that his father is supposedly dead, and I say supposedly because he could've faked his own death or maybe the guy that his half brother showed is not the same person as the one that Aqua is looking for. On that note I wonder if the white haired girl that was shown at the end has anything to do with Aqua's father or if its something new, curious to find out.

Regarding the girls, it's nice to see Ruby have more screen time and it's too bad she doesn't realize that her sensei has been at her side all this time. Then there's Kana who really wants to spend time with Aqua and if they do all go together to Miyazaki I wonder if Akane will go, especially if she finds out her rival will be there.

Aqua and Ruby were at least 2 years old when Ai died.
It is absolutely possible then for Uehara to have done it with Ai 16-17 years ago and have died 15 years ago.

I wonder what’s going to be the reaction from all the "WHERE IS THE MURDER PLOT?" people when the murder plot is suddenly over or at least very stale with no further clue and no motivation from Aqua of continuing. One bombshell of a revelation and the next episode, Aqua is dropping the case lol.

Early apparition of the white hair girl, but I think this is necessary. Needs to reassure anime viewers that there is stuff ahead, like with he early theater presentation.

But most most importantly. RUBY ARC, actual freaking Ruby arc. And unlike the 1st concert one, Ruby is an actual lead character. It’s not Aqua helping Kana for the concert that Aqua organized with a little bit of help from Ruby. This is Ruby making the MV for her song and Ruby motivating the song writer and Ruby’s inner thought about Ai and the doctor. Actual real 1st person Ruby arc.

Himekawa’s also warning Aqua of going after two girls. Well, he’s not actually going after them, more like passively accepting them, but still. He’s leading, he’s playing hot and cold, he’s not putting any boundaries. He’s accepting both at the same time and making them jealous of each other (and even fake dating one of them). And he perfectly knows what he’s doing, he KNOWS they both like him. (He used that fact to get Kana into B-Komachi). It’s in those moment that you realize that Aqua is kind of an asshole. And from the voice of reason (Himekawa), Aka Akasaka reminds us that yes, he’s kind of playing both sides like an asshole. This is also a reminder that harem-type anime are unrealistic fantasies to please the viewers and when you put even a little bit of realism into it, you get jealous girls and asshole MCs. It doesn’t have to be as extreme as School Days, but objectively speaking School Days is more realistic than your average harem anime. So in Oshi no Ko the girls get jealous, as they should. And Himekawa warns Aqua, as he should. I don’t expect any bloodshed, but still, the anime is self-aware that it isn’t normal behavior to be leading two girls at once.

Is it actually true that his father is long gone? For some reason, it doesn't feel that way. Idk why I feel that way. But, let's see if that's the case but after that, Aqua looks a lot happier which is nice. But, it seems like Ruby and her idol group are going to make a new original song for B Komachi. We are back after a break. Feels good.

The big cliffhanger and the hype which the previous episode left us just gets dropped like a dud bomb as apparently himekawa tells aqua that his mom who used to be an old famous actress and dad who used to be a struggling actor both died in a double suicide. So thats it for aqua? maybe or maybe not we'll see i doubt it though. But good to see himekawa and aqua having nice bonding moment as half siblings. Also himekawa calling out Aqua for seducing Kana and Akane was funny but true in a sense hes playing the game on both sides.
Aqua back home thinking about his life, how his revenge life for ai is pretty much over with the news of his "fathers" death and now he can finally be free and focus on his happiness/love life as level symbolizing Kana or akane. Both of them calling to check up on him and both were adorable especially kana with the tsundere but cutest expression. Also Voila the Star finally disappears on aqua for once.

Moving on to the B-Komachi where ruby, Memcho and kana are planning for the next big thing. I am glad to see Memcho back shes one of my favorites and she deserves all the screen time.

They prepare for a room tour video & it was funny how she convinces kana to shoot with tax saving scheme so quickly. xD Speaking of which Kana is really financially smart and sensible also really fashionable & classy at the same time. The Chloe Handbag, Herman miller chair, the gaming pc (Seems to be msi) while having actual savings and tax planning. and shes doing this all on her own without her irresponsible parents especially her selfish toxic mom. Wow girl i am impressed. Respect
We then see ruby in her room remembering reminisching about the most important people in her life AI and goro sensei (aqua), i think she obviously still has strong feelings for him till this date and wants him to see her with b komachi cause hes one the main reason she made the group. Tbh dont know how this will all pan out when the truth gets revealed about aquas identity. Sweet home alabama? i hope not =="

The girls are also planning to shoot a video and going to take country side trip to memchos designer friend which will give them some relaxation too. Speaking of which someones daydreaming already.

Get this girl a Glass of water cause damn shes thirsty calm down kana xD
Anyways the place is miyazaki and it kinda brings memories to both aqua and ruby i guess. Interesting choice, wonder if theres something waiting for them in the future episodes.
Also the group will have their first B komachi original song and mama miyako stepped in already, has taken the liberty to hire the groups old composer/singer himura san.
Aqua at the mention of another old acquaintance gets riled up with the black star but it quickly passes away since realization comes over again. Kana notices how he has changed and mellowed out more & its really nice seeing him be calm and smiling for once. Its kinda scary as well as if a premonition to whats gonna come.
Ruby cant wait and throws the most cutest baby tantrums and puppy dog faces like how can you no to that face? :3

Miyako finally gives in and while remembering her moments with her hubby ichigo which made me feel so bad for her. She still really misses him so much.
But theres still the problem of composer himura san being in a slump of his own which is understandable even being a veteran in the industry. Ruby sends him an encouraging and get well soon video & it works like a charm. The star power in her just makes her shine and again doga kobo with beautiful visuals do justice to it. Himura san gets the red bull wings he needed to stop slacking and push onwards. Maybe he got reminded of ai as well? Anyhow Good job ruby *clap clap*
Tokyo blade has finally concuded with their show and aqua is on a break. Ruby invites him to join them for an r&r especially with no ones suggestion *cough* kana *cough*
So guess aquas coming along too.
Finally we see the crow girl from the intro and thats gonna be whole another world of plot and explanation i suppose. Cant wait for next episode.

The new episode finally arrived!!!😆😆😆
Let's take it from the start then!

AQUA FINALLY FINDS OUT HIS DAD?! We, along, too! It's crazy how they leaved us at a cliffhanger and they litterly showed that their father is just dead😒, but whatever🤷‍♀️. I love the fact that Aqua is happy now tho! Now, why did Ai really fell for that player father? Would Ai really just do that🤔? Why did that man unalived himself? SO MANY QUESTIONSS!!!

We finally got a break from Tokyo Blade!!! I personally didn't like the Tokyo Blade part😐, so I'm very happy we get at least a break😌. BUT B KOMACHI IS BACKKKK😆!!! I was waiting the hole 10 episodes for this ngl😆. Ruby is slaying it💅, Kana is finally trying to get closer to Aqua😏, and Mem-cho is looking like she is really helping and trying her best👌. AND THE NEW SONG😆???!?!?! THATS CRAZY WE NEED A BANGERR🤑!!!!!!

Finally, we are in Privet arc😁!!! Everyone seems to be super excited about it, but Idk about it🤷‍♀️. I hope it's good anyways😁! That's it from me, thank u for reading my opinion😊 and sorry if my English are poor, I'm not English😃. SAYONARA👋~

This show can be stressful lol

Anyway, yeah, wrapping up the previous arc and setting up a new one, so this one was a slower episode than the last few.

There were some very interesting things they touched on in this episode too, from Aqua's listlessness to the Bigshot Syndrome they got into towards the end.

It was an okay episode of ONK, but also the kind of episode that the pacing would demand at the moment anyway.

I have some questions for manga readers right now (would like very general answers to these, and please spoiler tag where necessary):

1. Who was that at the end?
2. Will I still get Akane in this next arc? Right now it seems like they are going to Miyazaki without her?

@WaterMage Sorry, I misunderstood was comment.
It's possible it's a mistake on Akasaka's part. I've heard the timeline in Oshi no Ko is a little messed up.
But if it's not, either Uehara is not actually dead or the stalker we saw kill Ai found their address from someone else.
Those are the only possibilities I can think of.

@gorkthe134th I also gets confused by it when Ai died Aqua is supposed to be 2/3 year old. He also acted with Kana in a movie good amount of time before her death when he at max will be 2 and Kana will be 3. Well they don't look or act that age. I thought they would be 5/6 when Ai died and that would be 10-11 at max 12 years from current events.

Aqua would of course not act that age, as he was reincarnated, but I agree it doesn't make sense for Kana.

Uehara has definitely died since they have found his body.
But I have another theory:

If you are a manga reader, please don't confirm or deny my theory.

It's pretty obvious that the actor's mother fucked their real father, and that the "murdered father" was collateral damage from her murder. Aqua being so intelligent and obsessive, I find it shocking that he didn't think about it, but I can understand it, thinking that you have your father within your reach but he is dead. Obviously he's going to realize it, now we just have to know if before the end of this season or not.

Ruby is going to be surprised when she finds out that the doctor is her adorable little brother.

That's why I mentioned Kana she definitely should be atleast 4/5 a bit messy timeline maybe it gets calfrified later dk. Or that's how mature Japanese genius child actors are my bad.

@godavid10 I assume you are not a manga reader and just stating your theory.
Then it's one of most plausible one. Uehara guy being a 3rd grade actor being insecure of his wife makes it more sense.

Yes, I don't read the manga, I only read One Piece.

It is totally impossible that the murdered father is the real one, because otherwise this manga/anime would be known for being shit. The actor understandably never considered that he was not his real father, I don't know if Aqua will end up telling him or not. Ai, being what she was, it's also impossible that she ended up fucking the murdered guy, who seems like a typical salaryman with nothing special. She said he was someone "special".

I can't think of any other theory either, in this case DNA doesn't lie.
