Well, happy that Yoi at least straight out rejected the guy compared to Machida (from Namaikizakari) so that’s already a good start to the chapter. Highkey thought the childhood friend of Ichimura would add another obstacle in the relationship but she seems pretty fine; she’s aware of how short his relationships usually last so her thought process makes sense. Don’t think they’ll be anything to worry about her concerning Yoi and Ichimura.

Takuto himself is probably gonna be a problem. Man’s genuinely a walking trope; I get and don’t get his ‘beef’ with the MC but at the same time he really doesn’t have any right to judge someone considering his previous actions from last chapter. If he turns out to be another Hakamada, go for it. Just gives me more reason to despise his character. Don’t see him trying to sabotage the relationship but wouldn’t surprise me if something happened because of him.

But better chapter just because that confession was dealt with quicker than I thought it would instead of dragging it out. It still could be dragged out with Takuto but I’m hoping next chapter will deal with it just as quick as this one.

100% Agree, I really liked Yoi this chapter. What a breath of fresh air, lovely.

The no-name work acquaintance (he is almost a stranger to everyone here still) confessing his love- okay idc. Whatever. But then thinking he needs to whiteknight and put his nose where he doesn't belong/knows ANYTHING.. holy shit. He is about to be nothing to the story anymore but a creepy, obesessed loser. That shit can't even be redeemed ever. Not as a friend or work colleague.

I just hope the author keeps up the well done main characters and Yoi won't do anything stupid with that weirdo. That would straight up be poor writing. MC is upfront af and a misunderstanding would make zero sense- the usual checkmate authors put themselves in. Same happened to Hatsukoi Maze and the author just went along with it, not introducing cringy, unrealistic and cheap drama. What a time to be alive.

ALso damn for a childhood friend she is FINE! but she has no chance with Papa Yoi.
