| Great, the chapter was really good, And I loved the whole season. Amazing, the 2nd season of Chihayafuru, amazing. Now to see the OVA and the 3rd season. |
| Not to be nitpicky but I just love how when ayase's watching the final match video that it's shown in all the dramatic camera angles which WE saw but that you obviously wouldn't see if you were videotaping it from the side LOL Man I didn't know I was going to love this so much, was even expecting to drop it since I didn't exactly LOVE the first season. While it still feels uniformly the same in quality as the first season, something about this one just felt better. Maybe because we're fully past the set up stage and are full on in on competitive karuta. Plus we get more arata who was pretty much absent in the first season apart from the backstory segment. Felt really good after watching this season, and I really am clueless to see how it will unfold from here, and I am very curious to find out. Thankfully I don't have to wait the two-or-so years to watch the third season. Clearly though the love triangle that has been dormant all this time is probably going to come into play in the last season. Man I can't wait. 7/10 for Chihayafuru 2. EDIT: wth. For the guys who watched it while it was airing, they didn’t wait 2 or so years. Fall 2019, they had to wait SIX years??!! Bro even I had no idea that it just aired a couple years ago. I was sure it was like 2015 or something, damn. Fans must’ve been ECSTATIC when season 3 was announced. Now I’m even more excited to see chihayafuru 3 |

| It was known Chihaya only has eyes for karuta and Arata, but deep down I rooted for Taichi but now that Chihaya has confirmed her feelings (12:23) especially through her poems I guess those chances are close to zero. I'm glad Oe-chan is there to supports Taichi love. Onto the next season! |

| Ah, Taichi is suffering ;-; She finally admits that she likes Arata. Don't lose heart, Taichi! Try harder! You've been at her side all this time. I can't really tell who she'll end up with at this point. But gotta say, the poems Chihaya wrote were great. Not the ice cream and karuta ones, but the ones about Arata. They were beautiful, I think, and truly expresses her feelings. If I were her teacher, I'd give those ones a high score. And also, I only realised an interesting fact after Sakurazawa-sensei mentioned it. Only two people didn't lose at all this tournament: Arata (as expected), but also Mashima. Mashima definitely has the makings of a Master himself. Arata has a really big lead on him, but with how smart and hardworking Mashima can be, he might just be a serious rival in karuta to Arata. A nice ending to an amazing season. This season has made me even more invested in karuta than after watching the first season! I even ended up buying a set lol can't wait to continue with season 3 and see Chihaya become the Queen! And of course, the love triangle. Can't really decide between a 9 or 10, so I'll give a 9 for now. |

| Never thought Kana would be such a great wingwoman for Taichi, and it's kinda impressive how the video from Fujisaki somehow managed to capture all those angles from the back of the room. Another great season where Taichi finally scored some Ws. Can't wait to see the team grow even more. |
| Chihaya said she loves Arata.....game over Taichi. I would be mad if the show ended here, but there is a season 3. Though I can't imagine the pain of those who watched season 2 as it aired and how long the wait was. |
