| Phenomenal fight! I have a feeling I just witnessed peak. Everything is already coming together in such a harmonious way. Ippo continues to win my heart as one of the most genuine protagonist I've yet seen in a battle shonen, and we're not even at episode ten! I knew he wanted to land that uppercut, but I couldn't have foreseen just how much more dramatic the fight would get coming to that point. He and Miyata's rivalry is clearly only beginning. |

Thought that was pretty terrible tbh. He really shouldn't have won that fight
| @KXCVII It was because Miyata underestimated him from the beginning, and didn't really try at the beginning. Plus, he thought that he knew all of Ippo's moves. You know what they say about assume... |
| And Ippo has won against Miyata. A close victory but by grazing the tip of Miyata's chin he caused Miyata's brain to be a little wacky and so he couldn't get up. A big victory by Ippo, but I'd bet Miyata won't let him win next time by tactics like that |

| not bad...but again..more shonen flop where the prota is unbeatable and always gets what he want because OF HARD WORK. |
