| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was the best so far. Having the same seiyu from Mayuri Kurotsuchi, Frieza and Ceaser Clown as the bomber already made it good enough, but seeing all that interest over Yugi by Anzu was good to watch :) the situation of this game was much more ''real'' as well, loved the tic-tac detail and the flower clock, could fit in other shows such as Detective Conan pretty well. Also Anzu had quite the (and im quoting) ''sexy,dynamitou body'' :p |

| I agree entirely. Loved this episode. Not only because we could actually see Yugi and Anzu being together but also because the plot was inventive and less surreal in comparison to some other previous episodes (especially episode 7 which I found really subpar). |

| Another good episode, quite fun. The initial sketches are good and functional. The challenge in the second half and the conflict are nice to follow. I just didn't like how little Yugi was treated as totally uninteresting. It would have been more interesting if Anzu had been more reflective about the condition of the two Yugis. She kind of just seemed to accept that there’s a cool Yugi and the "regular" Yugi. We'll see if this is explored more later. The Shadow Game was a riddle, which only came as a response to the villain’s riddle. I liked the idea, but there was too much convenience from the villain, though there’s a justification behind it. It was good. |
