Do you dislike Yuri as well?
| I hate both Yuri and Yaoi. (I find them both disturbing, and no, i'm not a religious fuck) On my personal opinion, someone who dislikes/hates Yaoi and likes/loves Yuri is a sexist hypocrit. But thats me. I do lots of things others might consider wrong, so you don't need to agree with my opinion, nor consider it the absolute truth. |

| I dislike them both, though I'd have to say that I feel kinder toward yuri because it's not slammed in my face as much as yaoi is. Plus, I don't run into as many yuri pairings, and when I do it doesn't bother me as much 'cause I don't like girls like I like guys. If that makes any sense. =P |

| I'm religious, so I dislike both. But it comes to different levels: I loathe Yaoi because many fans of it distort the beautiful bond of my beloved bishies. But honestly, I'm indifferent with Yuri right now because I haven't encountered a popular pair...yet. But both is equally insulting. |

| I'm grossed out by both, but yaoi is way worse for me. That's because of the uke/seme garbage, and the annoying fangirls that turn every sraight character gay, make characters who are brothers gay, and go around calling people homophobes because they don't like to read about two guys getting it on. Like it's mandatory to read about guys having sex and perving off to it to be considered a good person or something. -_- |

| I'd have to disagree with the OPs statement on being a sexist hypocrite. It's just a preference. I don't like yaoi because I am not gay but I don't mind seeing 2 women get it on if they are both attractive. I just find all the yaoi stuff at cons fucking annoying. A little yuri into the mix wouldn't hurt. |

| Yes. People and their imaginary subtext, yikes! I also find it interesting that for yaoi/yuri pairings, one person looks more masculine and the other more feminine. And that they cheer for submissive(feminine)/dominant(masculine) relationships. But when they see a regular couple, the man, dominant*; the woman, submissive**, they cry unjust and unfair and oppressive? *(in the way that he takes care of her and guides her because he loves her) **(which does not mean she's an object and the man has complete control over her, but that she listens because she respects and trusts him) |
