Why the hell did you think that they are gonna go right to the timeskip this season? That's like close to manga's ending? We have too many events to go through before we reach that part. I think this season may end with the Tanpopo arc, meaning the Skeleton Island battle |
| At roughly half way we are mid 30s in chapters, with a few being skipped. Assuming we end around 60ish. Chap 171 would be expected towards the 2/3rds or end of a THIRD 2-cour season at the earliest. And tbh it’s a question if this will even get a season 2. It is a possibility but only getting a first season towards the final arc of the manga despite being a decently popular shounen jump publish. Kinda seems like a “buy the manga” ad rather than a sign of planning to adapt the entire thing. At least to me. |

They will most likely cover only 50-60 chapters atmost and that scene of manga panel comes much later in the series after 180 chapters or so I guess |
