The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu's Dandadan manga revealed on Tuesday additional cast, second key visual (pictured), and the second promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024 on MBS and TBS' Super Animeism TURBO programming block.

Cast
Seiko Ayase: Nana Mizuki (Black Clover)
Aira Shiratori: Ayane Sakura (Boku no Hero Academia)
Jin Enjouji: Kaito Ishikawa (Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai)

Hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts (Mashle: Shinkakusha Kouho Senbatsu Shiken-hen, Yofukashi no Uta) is performing the opening theme "Otonoke."

Fuuga Yamashiro (Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na! assistant director) is directing the anime at Science SARU. Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) is handling the series composition, and penning the script. Naoyuki Onda (Inuyashiki) is designing the characters, and Kensuke Ushio (Devilman Crybaby) is composing the music.

Tatsu began serializing the manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine in April 2021. Shueisha published the 14th volume on April 4, while the 15th volume is scheduled to go on sale on July 4.

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in February 2022. The seventh volume went on sale on April 9 and the eighth volume is scheduled to ship on July 16. Shueisha is also publishing the manga in English on its Manga Plus website and app.

Mizuki-san has a lot of supporting roles this year. Of course, not at the level of Rieri, but still. Has she decided to return to anime? Also, why do the character designs in the show look so digital? Is this some kind of new feature of Sakuga?

The cast is perfect. And the best part is seeing Jiji animated. That confirms one of the best arcs in the series will be adapted.

@RobertBobert pretty sure they confirmed two separate cours a few weeks ago.
And it makes sense, the first cour ends with Nessie, the second one shows Jiji.

@Pakumen- Split courses? Most likely due to the difficulties of producing a quality show?
