| Yumiko really shouldn't put so much stress on herself but hey, at least she knows the reality of what's going on. With Christmas season here, she did need some time to relax more. The chemistry between her and Chika still follows wherever they go. I just find it kinda amusing the episode had them involved in karaoke, almost in a way to showoff their talent. |

| It's good Yasumi's doing better now. But the director's right, she's just starting out. Also, btw, it was nice to see Yuuhi quietly singing along with Yasumi's song lols. |

| I just know that super fan of Chika and Yumiko was kicking his legs when he heard about the karaoke. He must of been in heaven when he went with everyone. Chika and Yumiko have such a lovely relationship. They’re like sisters. That and I’ve noticed in recent episodes such as this one Yumiko tends to call Chika onee-chan (sister) at times. |
| We got so many adorable Yuuhi/Yasumi moments this week! That scene where Yuuhi 'gifts' Yasumi these anime series on christmas day in particular had such sweet vibes, and was probably my favorite of the episode. I liked a lot the entire episode :) |

| After that angsty week of Yuri seasonals this is the type of mood reset we needed from the girls 😭 Yasumi getting a pep talk and regaining her confidence, Karaoke, the Christmas date and the much improved performance at the end! Awesome episode Kagasaki came in clutch with helping Yasumi get her mind right, but I still think all this blame goes on the production staff for rushing thru the casting and recording process and then not helping Yasumi really get into the role. Like ofc you’re gonna have “retake hell” if you give the script to someone the day before.. That aside, like I said last week Shirayuri is the ideal role for Yasumi and she should be able to summon her and really get into the character which she did! The karaoke trip was a great opportunity to blow off steam for the girls and wow Yasumi really ate that performance of the OP up. I know the mega fan stalker dude was happy af to be around his oshi. Long as he keeps it wholesome and doesn’t do anything to them I’m fine with him fangirling out lol. Yuhi is such a big tsundere, the Christmas gift scene was so cute and it was actually something that could really help Yasumi. Seeing similar Kamishiro anime would def give insight into how to perform! Her little bashful face was so sweet. And way to end the episode with a bang. Yasumi looked like a totally different person today when performing. Killed her perfomance! Even the vets looked shocked lol. The production staff really owe her an apology but whatever. Great episode |

| So we got a Christmas themed episode... in the first week of June 2024 🙃 After the ending of the last episode, I'm relieved to see Yasumi didn't go off the edge. The karaoke segment was neat. Having a professional perform at a personal event is a rare treat. Though it's a damned shame we didn't get to see Yuuhi sing solo 😞 Yuuhi admitted that she prefers being alone with Yasumi. To which, Yasumi felt that Yuuhi was saying something weird. Did she thought Yuuhi was asking for another bathing session? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Aww. Yuuhi gave Yasumi a X-mas present. 😀 At the pancake cafe, Yuuhi asked Yasumi to finish her white cream. They were "this" close to doing another sexual innuendo with that bit ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I'm surprised my complaint about the veteran seiyuus being unhelpful in the last episode was addressed. I wasn't expecting it, but it is a much welcome development. |
| Im glad that Yasumi didnt give up and continued to try. The idea expressed by her manager is right imo - not to play but to be a character. And anime boss is cool that he tries to make Yasumi better. And well, what could be better than going to karaoke with cute gyarus? Yasumi and Yuuhi even sang a "STAND BY YOU" as a duet! Just perfect. Also did you notice this confession by Yuuhi that she prefers being alone with Yasumi? And in the end of the day Yasumi spent christmas evening with her girlfriend, the yuri vibes in this anime is something and i love it. |
| I was expecting the camera to pan to sweet tooth anemic introvert's jealous face when extrovert gyaru's normie friend kept leaning into her. YES, anemic introvert needs to get out more and mingle with the peasantry even though she would prefer to be in a tiny pool of water with extrovert gyaru. Instead of wanting to ramble about mecha how about singing extrovert gyaru's cover ON-SCREEN. My goodness, this is why I'm not having fun. I'll have coffee with my milk and whip cream with my pancakes. Lesson learned, next time use less cream and spread it on extrovert gyaru''s finger instead. You know what to do next. Kek I don't need nepotism to chat up your perfectionist overachiever dad. Thanks for the romantic gift! What was that, can you start over? |
| It's a relief that the c-word december holiday season was pretty much just in the title and not hamfisted into the plot, and between good hints, nice classmates, accidental innuendos, and simply put effort, Yasumi gets over her sad moment. Good episode, better than my expectations. Nice to see the ED sung at the karaoke. |

| Yumiko singing Watanabe's song, and Watanabe being embarrassed was so funny. Watanabe taking revenge by singing Yumiko's song was even funnier. |
| There are still walls to overcome, which means Satou must try to reach one level above. Satou can be said to have risen and learned from her mistakes. Currently she is trying to act better. Even so, Satou must thank Chika who helped her once again. They both are good work partners.  |

| Good episode, I feel like we're hitting a stride right at the end here. Main thing I wanted to say this week is I am a Wakana x Yasumi fan now. Wakana is absolutely adorable and I love her energy. She was kinda magical right from the start but she is becoming one of my favorites along with Asaka. I still love the connection between Yasumi and Yuuhi though. Yasumi absolutely brings the best sides of Yuuhi out when they are together. Next episode please! |
| Despite being down, Sato is not out, and she won't give up now. Talking to her manager about her acting, as well as Sugishita's comments together, Kagasaki is able to pinpoint where Sato should refocus her efforts as Mei Shirayuri, the same way she does her Plastic Girls' Mari work as well. And the intent of Sato using Christmas to train, Kagasaki advises against her working too hard to death, which is much needed. And a Christmas Eve karaoke affair for the class, Sato tricking Chika to join them is her natural, even much so that Sato picked her idol song to sing, which Chika takes it personally by singing one of her songs as a cover as well. That's some Yuri competition there. Chika offering her father to help Sato get over with her acting struggles, though Sato has already gone to see him, the former offers a Blu-ray copy of the show to help the latter as a present, and Chika getting pancakes in whipped cream...is such a delight. With the festivities over, it's back to the professional work, and Sato finally grasped her problems enough to progress the voice recording, though she shouldn't start conpromising to deliver an even better performance going forward. The veteran VAs feeling the same for both girls, and Sato must really put in her effort. Sato's manager Kagasaki is her saving grace, no doubt. |
