| I just happened to stumble upon it recently and didn't know it was a thing at all until then (I've seen some similar behind the scenes conversations, interviews, featurettes, etc. with the seiyuu, creators, and other staff associated with other series, but wasn't aware that this show had one or was doing any of this). I haven't seen anyone else mention it here or if I had been made aware of it through the sub-forum, I would have already started watching/listening to them from the beginning. I always find it fascinating the "real life" person's voice speaking on behalf of their character, how you can sometimes slightly sometimes majorly hear parts of the character coming through in them, and in many cases, including here with the Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai seiyuu, how into their characters and the story and world of the show they get. It can serve as something nice and fun to accompany and help digest or process the episode, especially after the more emotionally-heavy episodes and scenes. Fortunately they're being fansubbed with English subtitling. | Yes! I have been keeping up with the fan translated versions of these releases. I originally became aware of it through a random tweet I saw that clipped one of these. I think the one I saw first was the episode 5 discussion. Won't go into detail for spoiler reasons, but these are awesome. I personally love stuff like this so I'm extremely happy that Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai is getting this treatment. Not to mention that the voice talent in this show is amazing. Getting to hear perspectives on the characters and show from them is great. |
