Blue Lock adapts Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yuusuke Nomura's soccer manga, which began in Weekly Shounen Magazine in August 2018. Kodansha published the 29th volume on May 16. Kaneshiro and Kouta Sannomiya began serializing the Blue Lock: Episode Nagi spin-off manga focused on Seishirou Nagi in Bessatsu Shounen Magazine in June 2022. Kodansha shipped the fourth volume on April 17. Kodansha USA licensed both the manga and spin-off in January 2021 and October 2023, respectively. | im not expecting improvements on the quality given that they just release a mid movie so another tight production schedule and i heard its another 2 cour again but at least it has a dedicated action director now though so that may help on some sakuga scenes |
