| I mean the animation was amazing, so good infact that I couldn't believe it was made by Studio Pierrot. But it's still Bleach in the end. I see that they made this episode in a way that even someone who hasn't seen the 366 episodes before this would be able to watch it. 3/5 |
| The first episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War was amazing. I just finished OG Bleach yesterday and coming into TYBWI had my expectations high and this first episode delivered. We got a re introduction to the main cast with everyone showing off there powers and protecting the new soul reapers in charge of Karakura town, I feel they should've sent one or two more people with them though as they didn't seem up to the task. Though there were plenty of hollows. The Quincy are attacking it seems and they are quite powerful with the few displays of power we've seen from them this episode. Yamamoto had a nice scene with him declaring hes the strongest security. The animation is top tier and something I wasn't expecting to be as good as it it, though I'm happy its this good Bleach deserves it. Overall a solid first ep to TYBW. |
