Hi, I've watched 7 episodes of the anime so far but having mixed thoughts on it. Considering it's a 27 eps anime I want to know if there's something to look forward to our maybe it's just not for me.

I do enjoy the characters and the little comic it romantic moments throughout the show but... Despite watching 7 episodes I don't feel like there's really much story to it? And even the cute moments from before are getting a bit tiring.

For example, the latter half of the 6th episode with the video game was just... Very random? Filler even?

It just feels like there aren't really any stakes, and in general no big story or anything, just things happening for the sake of it.

Would love to know from manga readers what the future of this anime might look like and if it's worth continuing.

Thanks

The earlier chapters were very much episodic, and they even skipped a few chapters I believe. As far as I recall, I believe this current mini arc is what kick starts the story to being more uniform and isn’t as episodic anymore. The series definitely ramps up and there’s more to look forward to

Don't worry episode 8 kicks off the plot, it's still a little episodic afterward, but there's more plot going in the background. Just keep watching and you'll get it

Thank you. Do you also foresee some substantial progress between Taiyou and Mutsumi in the anime?

Or it's one of these that get barely any romance and the then suddenly there's only some romance in the epilogue?

I don’t understand what you mean.

The show how been showing the main male character change throughout each episode in order to join the family and protect his wife, risking his life to do so.

So I don’t get what you mean at all.

It has been very enjoyable throughout.

@dadnaya they are married already, don’t you know all romance stops after that 😂 Just Kidding
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

@dadnaya Their relationship is one of the main focuses of the story. They regularly go on dates in one-off chapters (tho considering how the anime adapted the manga so far, some of those might be skipped) and they have a big moment together in basically every major arc

i've read the manga all the way to the latest update and i can 100% tell you it's worth it (the manga at least)

imo personally, the anime however is currently having a very slow start i had to consistently decide to just watch it on every release or put it on hold (currently on hold)

despite saying all these, i dont mean any hate towards anyone related in the making of the anime, i just hoped it had the same impact the manga have

still, as usual, it's absolutely up to you to keep watching or not, as the story goes in the manga it does build up to some fully-engaging arcs and is not just some scattered story that leads nowhere

i'd suggest you to read the manga since they also released it on ( most probably ) an official website, it's definitely a blast
