does it even need any leaks to tell us that it will be receiving an anime adaptation? but rather some announcement information is needed.

Didn't expect it to be so soon, considering people said DP always only had plans till Part 6, but I'm not complaining.

@RandomPerson9348

How is this "so soon" when it was expected and no airing date is leaked?

Ngl, it kinda feels like bait to me. Now I'm all for it if it's real, but I feel like David Productions would have left the announcement to a more... official source? Like their official account or something? Apart from this one website, and some rickroll post somebody made on the jjba wiki, I've been unable to find any official confirmation. Fingers crossed, but I doubt it's true (Edit: Sorry for leaving such a huge wall of text lmao)

oecuf0 is a known reliable leaker, safe to say it's probably true.

The article doesn't even adds the source of the leak, it just says it will come "soon". I think it's probably fake.

That's because it's the site of the leaker himself.

He almost never share his sources.
He shitpost a lot tho, so it's kinda hard to take him seriously.

Fucking obviously - it was never a question of if it would receive one, it was a question of when.

Did you just assume they wouldn't adapt the next part??

I doubt the leak is real though part 7 getting an anime is a certainty.

This stems from the Stone Ocean animation director QRTing a photo of a horse and saying something along the lines of "next JoJo required subjects", suggesting that the animators need to practice doing horses.

This implies that the show is in, at most, very early pre-production. I wouldn't expect any formal announcements until the end of the year at the earliest.

@Salty-GB

I think it's more of a question of how. This part is different from all the others, for various reasons related to the fact that SBR was mostly published in a different magazine than all the others.

@Lux_Vacui a different magazine owned by the same parent company... It would be the exact same team handling the rights. Probably even the same staff since there's a pre-established relationship.

@Salty-GB

I didn't mean as a problem of rights. Ultra Jump doesn't have the usual limit of of 20ish pages count per chapters of Shounen Jump. A lot of chapters in SBR have over 50 pages count. This means that the average page count per mini-arc, is a bit higher with respect of the previous parts. Because of this the pacing is a bit different, and i don't think they will be able to cram whole stand fights in a episode or two like they did before, without butchering it in the process.

Also since Ultra Jump is a seinen magazine some scenes, like Lucy and Scarlett, can't possibly carry the same age rating as before.

I have my reservations about the outcome of this adaptation. If DP adapts to the changes, good, and i'll be glad my concerns were for nothing. But i'll believe it when i see it.
