| Yamada being pushed by Kazama to visit Snack Basue, his Senpai just made a runaway while Mama Basue just got KIA-ed by Akemi...and came back, because Akemi had a scissor trap. The way that Basue comforted Kazama, it's hilariously weird like giving birth to a child...and he sure has unintended thoughts for Yamada trying to score with Akemi. Her diss at the Yosakoi Soran Festival with flash mobs, whew what a kicker. It's all Kazama shooting rando questions from 8-bit games to vintage art, and Yamada has enough of his antics...though Kazama is not done yet being a pain in the ass. Tatsu is back talking about a kids' movie which brought him to tears, he certainly has a story to tell...of crying the entire way from start to finish. Even in nostalgia, Tatsu is crying like he's seen Heaven, apart from having a sensitive heart. Amano starts working at Snack Basue, though his customer is Miki Azuma, who wants to score a snack bar girl. Together with the kinda useless secrets from a nameless love guru's handy guidebook, Miki does his best, though Akemi has a counterattack with a DVD guide. This proxy war sure goes ham both left and right, and in the end, AKemi gets rejected lols. Weird, but good weird. This episode's karaoke song: Junko Ohashi's "Silhouette Romance" |

| The humor in this one can get pretty niche, but it's definitely working for me. Pure comedy like this is always such a joy to watch whenever the atmosphere hits just right! |

| that 1st half was so bad that i almost dropped the anime, but thankfully, the 2nd half was actually decent ... so what happened to grandma there? why was she bleeding, and how did it stop? :D why would the guy suddenly strip? why would he even think the other guy could like him? mendokusai lmao the part with the love book was actually fun, but didn't expect Akemi to lose that easily , and that face, doesn't even need editting |

| Not sure why the seduction manuals were written by "Douglas" and "McArthur". Some delayed war trauma? This show is really good, or at least really good for me. |
| I'm not really liking this series' pacing, this episode in particular was too slow and stretched out with way too many dead moments. I enjoy the gags but I feel like the show is in a dire need for a snappier tempo to keep the momentum going. |
