No wonder this is called an alternative version. The expressionless Ayanokouji Kiyotaka kun from the LN/Anime has a huge personality DIFFERENCE than this manga version. What do you think?

ps;-
I dropped the manga because I prefer Ayanokouji attitude on the anime. haha

This Ayanokouji is just bad. It feels like the author wants to make him a little more like the generic high school protagonists but at the same time keep the chill in the light novel/anime. The lines are pretty similar to the LN but the tone just feels way different.

agreed

I don't know when I read the novel and the fact that i saw the anime

I kinda like the stoic personality and honestly, i anticipated that he would have the same emotion lol
Alfazeroneko will come back, surely he will be back from the dead :)

So fucking true. Haven't read the manga, but i read the LN.

Nah, you know, the LN is more detailed. It shows what the MC's thinking.

And in the Anime... beside it just shows the dialogue between characters. I think the staff make Ayanokouji more Badass. And yeah, Ayanokouji Anime version 10x better than the LN version.

3/10 dropped because this story is so awful, i don't like that he's very different personality, anime is better than this alternative version of the manga '-'

It's just sad, because the manga version adapts ten times better than the anime version, but the Ayanokouji adaption is pointless.

I was glad that I can see visuals of the Zodiac Exam on the cruise ship and also beyond of the Island Exam, but I did not like the expressions Ayanokouji had. Although he was supposedly acting like a generic high school student as his persona before revealing his true personality, the manga did not portray Ayanokouji well imo.

I read few pages of the 1st chapter just a couple of minutes and am not going to read the manga. the simple reason is that I don't like ayanokoji in it. his badass behaviour in anime is far better than the manga.

I’m agreeing with everyone when they say LN is soft and LN is shit. Also, everyone loves Classroom of Elite for its anime of him being emotional-less, so I hope on July 4th it's not following LN like that.

I like it, he's pretty fun to watch. To me Youjitsu is a fun concept with interesting cast of character with the exception of the protagonist. I hate bland, emotionless, aimless characters. LN ver is super bland because he was designed to be power fantasy wish fulfilment type, while the manga feels like an actual character.

Manga is deffo my favorite version of Ayanokoji

The Ayanokouji of the light novels already is a generic high school protagonist.
You all need to watch Nami.
