Thirteen years ago, when the Monster Army breached Earth's borders, the Divine Dragon Rangers emerged as the stalwart defenders. Amidst the ongoing conflict, these revered champions stand as humanity's final line of defense... Or so it seems. In reality, the invaders were swiftly subdued, compelled to churn out a new monster weekly for the Rangers to vanquish, all under the gaze of their fervent admirers. Yet, amidst this cycle, one "villain" has reached its breaking point. Determined for change, he plots to defy the Dragon Rangers' dominance, aiming to dismantle them from within. As a bit of a Tokusatsu fan myself, I find this to be such a unique take on the genre and absolutely love all the clichés incorporated here. Also, that whole Sunday fight thing is hilarious, especially since Japan typically airs Super Sentai and Kamen Rider back-to-back on Sunday mornings. The villains may be immortal, but their executives are defeated. This suggests that the executives are still alive, perhaps captured as hostages to compel the villains to keep "fighting" so the rangers can continue reaping hero benefits. Additionally, I totally thought the guy and girl were going to be the red and pink rangers. So the rangers eliminate all of the evil executives and enslave the remaining foot soldiers, allowing them to perpetuate the same routine repeatedly. That's pretty messed up. Trying to break out of the same clichés every Sunday... what a premiere! I'm hooked. Well done, Negi, you're about to go two for two, aren't you? is this chat gpt ? wtf lol |

| Anyone remember John Hammond meme on Jurassic Park repeating ad nauseum "I spared no expense" every time he wanted to impress his guest in the multibillion dollar dinosaur park? That's how I felt in this show in every single cut scene with incredible sakuga. As a somehow old but mostly new fan of sentai, I had hopes for this show to be entertaining. I really had no clue it would be this bombastic in all areas. The music is just "cheff's kiss", incredibly dramatic and overwhelming in the parts where the sentai heroes must shine, but incredibly wacky in the goofy scenes with the Dust mobs (it almost feels like it was taken out of a Tim Burton movie). And here I thought Konosuba would be the indisputable king of the hill comedy wise this season. Did I already gush about the animation? I did? well here goes again. It's just pristine and flamboyant just for the sake of flexing it on the audience and I love it. Heck, even the CG sequences looked amazing (yes the part where the Dragon Fighters show up after the Tiger mob was all CG). Without checking sources, if anyone told me it was by the original cast of One Punch man, I'd believe it. I'm legit impressed, and that's not something easy to achieve. I'm really looking forward to how the story of the bad guys being the good guys will unfold. |

| Had no idea that Negi started another manga after finishing Gotoubun, especially not one that's in an entirely different genre. The main reason I wanted to check this out is that the poster gives off Kill la Kill vibes, which ultimately I didn't really get from the episode, but it was fun nonetheless. Gonna stick around. |

| Ultora really just transformed into a pickup truck hahaha wtff. Suzukiri looks like she knows who MC is. She definitely knows something we dont. Plot looks interesting, I'm looking forward to see how MC is going to take them down from the inside |

| This one is kidna boring for me, I'll give it a shot for one more ep and we will see. I'm kinda interested if the blonde girl was also a Duster 'cuz I kinda got that vibe. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if all of them + the 5 main rangers would be Dusters that did exactly what D did. |
| Finally here man, been one of my fave ongoing manga for a while I’m so hype to see this animated. First episode not only didn’t disappoint, but actually exceeded my wildest expectations for how good this series could be. Hats off to the studio. They set the stage well for the action scenes in the series with amazing storyboarding and visual direction, not to mention how well they established the futility of the fight between the dragon keepers and invaders. My goat, invader D tried convincing the others that they were stuck in the matrix just losing every week, but they’re so small minded they couldn’t wrap their minds around it. You know what they say, if you want something done right, do it yourself. So no better way to destroy the rangers than from within. Infiltrating them is a very risky play, but it’s better than just being used as entertainment fodder every week. It’s about time the invaders wanted more for themselves. In addition to the Sakuga, seiyuu castings on point. Suzukiri being voiced by Yano Yumika is such a good casting decision, perfect for her personality and I can’t wait to see some of her best moments with D. |

| Okay, I really did not expect to start this anime, but some for reason I did. It expected to better than I thought for sure. I did not read the premise or anything and just started watching blindly from the start. It turns out to be more than just comedy elements. It's actually some quite more than that with the monsters being used as slaves for the entertainment of the mass. On top of that being play toys for the Dragon Rangers. The scenes with all the Dusters together was hilarious as hell. We're focusing on Duster D who wants to be more than just a slave for them, so he goes out to become a ranger. Also the yellow ranger got me for real with her dead eyes. Animation is quite crisp with the immortality thingy from the dusters. The voice actors are also HELLA stacked, so it will be quite a good serie. Opening is also really good. |

Now that's a premise I can get behind, more so with them breaking the meta (literally) and starting off with a The Boys-esche disdain for the rangers. That blonde girl has a very sadistic expression, what is she planning exactly I wonder. |

I’m not sure how it is in Japan, but that’s how it is at least in Japan. Undead Unluck is on Hulu, and I barely saw anyone talking about it, minus a couple YouTubers here and there. | I also came into this blind so I have no idea what to expect but this first episode intrigued me. While the fights seem to be partly staged this reminds me of the Harlem Globetrotters vs. the Washing Generals in that the Globetrotters win like 99% of the time and, while it's somewhat of a "staged" show, they still compete. Having said that, the blonde girl with the large pupils has me wondering if she's up to something. |
| Neat premise with some wonderful execution so far. The effort the minions put into coming up with a new monster and squabbling over not repeating themselves and sticking to certain standards was actually quite amusing. "We will stripe all animals." I guess when you've had to come up with almost 1000 evil plots you're kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel. I admit I completely fell for the fake out on D unleashing his fury on the rangers and it just made it even better. |

| Decent so far. The overall aesthetic and art direction is great. The production quality is fairly consistent. No obvious flaws right out of the gate. It has stylized fight sequencing. Which fits it well. Other than that I wouldn't say anything stand out. But I have a feeling that is going to come as it progresses. |

| Huh... so all the "bosses" got wiped out within a year by the OP Rangers... But they still have the mean to create and summon new monsters? and by the minions... interesting... (since the trope in Power Rangers is that only a mid-boss that can summon can create new monsters, minions doesn't have that power. Minions are mostly dupe summons too by the mid-boss as a one-time use thing) But I guess the minions in this isn't exactly the typical minions in most Power Ranger series... since it looks like the Minions in this series can actually power up and transform into stronger monsters... And the minions are "immoral"... but their "bosses" isn't... kinda weird... lol . |
